For those who don’t recall, the 58-year-old comedian did a comedy special for Netflix earlier this year called Chris Rock: Selective Outrage. During the show, he addressed when Will Smith struck him onstage at the Academy Awards last year for making a joke about the 52-year-old actress’ shaved head — and did so by roasting the pair’s “entanglement” drama. He brought up Jada’s relationship ith August Alsina, saying:

“Everybody knows that had nothing to do with me. I didn’t have any entanglements. His wife was f**king her son’s friend. Now, I normally would not talk about this shit, But for some reason, these n***** put that shit on the internet. I have no idea why two people that talented would do something that low-down. We’ve all been cheated on, none of us have every been interviewed by the person who cheated on us. Why the f**k would you do that shit? She hurt him way more than I did… Everybody called him a bitch, and who’s he hit? Me!”

Chris then went on to say Jada “started this s**t” when she said he shouldn’t have hosted the Oscars because Will wasn’t nominated for his role in Concussion during the “#OscarsSoWhite” backlash in 2016:

“Nobody’s picking on this bitch. She started this s**t… And then this n**** gives me a concussion! I love Will Smith… he makes great movies. I rooted for Will Smith my whole life. And now, I watched Emancipation just so I could watch him get whooped.”

Damn. He did not hold back his feelings in this comedy special. At the time, neither Will nor Jada addressed the comments. Months later, though, the Queen Cleopatra star is finally opening up about how she felt about being mocked by Chris. And it sounds like she had some mixed feelings about it!

In an interview published on Saturday by The New York Times, Jada shared that she had been hurt by what Chris said in the special. She recalled:

“I remember my heart piercing, my heart cracking, and I remember my feelings being so hurt. And then I remember being able to smile and wish him well at the same time.”

Oof. It’s unknown what the Madagascar actor has to say about Jada’s new remarks, including the one where he supposedly asked her out when rumors were circulating she was divorcing Will and she rejected him! However, sources have said he “would actually love for her to keep his name out of her damn mouth” now, as he’s “over” being sucked into the drama. So we can imagine he’s not happy about this latest reveal!

For those who don’t recall, the 29-year-old singer sparked controversy earlier this year. Back in January, he had been walking down a street in the Dominican Republic when a woman suddenly approached him and began recording herself and him selfie-style. But a few seconds later, Bad Bunny then snatched the phone out of her hands before tossing the phone into a body of water. Damn!! This fan interaction faced a ton of backlash online. Many argued that even if the woman had invaded his space, Bad Bunny shouldn’t have reacted so explosively and thrown her phone into the water. The Tití Me Preguntó artist addressed the situation at the time in a since-deleted post on X (Twitter), saying:

“The person who comes up to me to say hello, to tell me something, or just to meet me, will always receive my attention and respect. Those who come and put a f**king phone in my face, I will consider it for what it is, a lack of respect, and I will treat it likewise.”

Months later, Bad Bunny is once again speaking out about the controversial incident – this time through his new music. By now you know his new album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana dropped on Friday, and one song in particular is catching a ton of attention on social media due to its shady lyrics!

At one point on the song, Nadie Sabe, the rapper expresses how feels there are a lot of people who want to see him fail before making a clear reference to the phone-throwing scandal. He raps:

“Tú no ere’ mi fan real, por eso te tiré el celular.”

That translates to:

“You’re not my real fan, that’s why I threw my cell phone at you.”

Ouch. Clearly, Bad Bunny still is feeling salty about what down even though so much time has passed. Listen (below):

“Chris has said his piece on the entire Will Smith slap, but now with these new revelations from Jada that her and Will have been living separate lives it is just another WTF moment in the whole saga from these past few years between Chris, her, and Will.”

Yeah… a real ‘WTF moment’ for sure!!

The confidant went on to say the Selective Outrage star is specifically pissed off about Jada sharing secrets with the world, such as the fact that he supposedly asked her out several summers ago when she was rumored to be actually divorcing the King Richard lead for real:

He is a relatively private person and was just getting to a point where people may have started to move on, but now it is back in the limelight, and it’s just frustrating that everything is coming back to the forefront.”

For those who haven’t seen the Season 2 reunion for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, it’s full of shocking revelations — the most harrowing of which is that when he was at his worst, Ryan’s overdose was actually intentional. He didn’t want to be saved. So sad… However, as he revealed to host Dr. Drew Pinsky, he is now five months sober for the first time amid his battle with addiction. And it seems his overdose and legal troubles helped him get to this good place. He’s been in a halfway house in Tennessee after first getting treatment at a center for 28 days.

Before going to rehab, he had been in prison for several months after being arrested for a DUI, possession of a controlled substance, and of course, harassing his ex. Mackenzie filed for divorce in February. But innerestingly enough, the estranged couple were seen together just weeks ago in August outside of his rehab facility. So where do these two stand? Ryan said the pair “will continue” with their divorce – but he’s not “sure” if that’s what Mackenzie wants to do now.

However, Maci — and even Ryan’s parents — do NOT seem to be OK with the idea of these two getting back together, or even having contact with each other! His mom, Jen Edwards, expressed concern about their controversial visit, saying:

“It was very worrisome. There is no one who should be on that property but the patients. Ryan got in trouble for that.”

When Dr. Drew noted that Mackenize possibly doesn’t understand Ryan’s condition and thus could be “so dangerous for Ryan’s sobriety,” Maci, Jen, and Larry Edwards all nodded in agreement. Oof.

It’s understandable that they want Ryan’s sobriety journey to go well. But let’s not shade Mackenzie, who had been a victim of his amid his struggles with addiction. We mean, she saw him at his worst, why assume she knows nothing?? That’s not going to help an already complicated situation.

Interestingly, Sophie still follows Nick, Kevin Jonas, his wife Danielle Jonas, AND her ex! Soooo, perhaps there is drama between Sophie and Priyanka?!?! After all, it wasn’t like the 27-year-old was cleansing her timeline of all things Jonas! This was a targeted attack!

Earlier in the couple’s divorce, a source told Life & Style that the Citadel lead felt “caught in the middle” since she’s friends with both Sophie and Joe. Considering she was “very close” with the Brit — so close they thought they would both move their families to England together — she supposedly didn’t “want to do anything to jeopardize [Sophie and her nieces] being in her life.” But she must’ve done something if they both unfollowed each other! Right??

Publicly, the Love Again star has stayed hush-hush on the split, so it’s hard to know what could’ve occurred. The only notable thing the 41-year-old did was gush about her hubby hours after rumors surfaced that the DNCE frontman was planning to file for a legal split. Maybe the timing of the post rubbed the actress the wrong way?? Or some other s**t went down behind the scenes?

It is somewhat surprising since Jophie has actually managed to settle their child custody battle following mediation talks. Joe even filed to drop his Miami divorce filing, suggesting this chaos is over. But we guess a whole new feud is just beginning. Oof!

For those who don’t recall, the 34-year-old former yoga instructor from Austin, Texas, allegedly fatally shot 25-year-old Moriah “Mo” Wilson in May 2022. Law enforcement believe the professional cyclist had been involved with Armstrong’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland. When the suspect found out the two went swimming together one day, she allegedly killed Mo in a “jealous rage.” Police brought her in for questioning afterward. However, they did not arrest her at the time.

Instead of waiting around to see what authorities did next, Armstrong booked it. She escaped the state and eventually the country, sparking a six-week-long manhunt. The yogi, sporting a whole new appearance due to cosmetic surgery, was eventually captured in Costa Rica on June 29 and arrested on first-degree murder charges. Armstrong has since pleaded not guilty, and her trial is scheduled to begin on October 30.

Before the fitness instructor heads to court, though, she decided to try fleeing once again. And she was SUCCESSFUL! We’re not kidding.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, two deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office had taken Kailin to a doctor in South Austin on Wednesday. When the appointment ended shortly after 8 a.m., officers escorted her to a patrol unit to take her back to the Travis County Correctional Complex. But Armstrong had other plans in mind. She suddenly bolted from the cops and went on the run! There is even a video of her fleeing and trying to scale a fence to get away from the police!!

Fortunately, she was only out of custody briefly. Armstrong got about a block down the road before officers found and detained her again. The sheriff’s office insisted that the accused murderer had been in the deputies’ eyesight the entire time she was out of custody.

Hmm… You would think that given her history of running from the authorities, they would have had a good eye (and hold) on her to begin with so this sort of situation didn’t happen again! As Armstrong evaded the authorities for 43 days in the past, she likely could do it again if she had the opportunity. And clearly, she was trying to make it happen here!

Following her arrest, she was transported to the Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment. KXAN reported that Armstrong now could face additional charges for escaping.

The reunion for Teen Mom: The Next Chapter got super heavy.

As you may know, much of Season 2 of the MTV reality series focused on Maci Bookout’s ex and baby daddy Ryan Edwards’ personal and legal struggles. Obviously the low point was Ryan’s overdose back in April, which resulted in the reality star falling unconscious in his car. He was hospitalized and eventually arrested on a controlled substance charge and a DUI when he woke up. The 35-year-old was sent to rehab earlier this year and has been in therapy since then.

Ryan obviously couldn’t go to New York City for the reunion, which aired on Wednesday. So Dr. Drew Pinsky flew to Tennessee to speak with him about his troubles this season. And the reality star’s confession during his one-on-one interview is absolutely heartbreaking. When asked about whether he was done with treatment, Ryan said:

“I would hope to think so, I don’t want to do it anymore. I think my biggest problem was myself, not thinking I had a problem. I lied to myself.”

The television personality is currently five months sober — which is the longest time he’s ever been sober after treatment. Wow. Ryan shared:

“When I went to treatment [before], I knew as soon as I got home I was gonna do what I was gonna do. I have used in jail but not this go around. That’s big, it takes a lot of work.”

Although his children are a big reason why he wants to remain sober, he also got honest and admitted he doesn’t “believe that’s enough to keep” him that way. Ryan pointed out a lot of people he knows still use drugs, so he tries not to “put myself around it,” regularly going to AA and NA meetings instead. During filming, he was staying at a halfway house, working with a sponsor, and about to start going through the steps. But as for what his future looks like once he leaves the halfway house? Ryan noted:

“It’s whatever the court says, I’m at their mercy right now.”

Then, things took an even more somber turn in the conversation. Dr. Drew went on to ask if he ever thought about hurting himself before. Ryan revealed what no one knew — his overdose was actually intentional:

“Yeah. The last time I used and overdosed, that was on purpose.”

He was trying to hurt himself with the overdose? Was he trying not to wake up??

So, so sad…

Noting the confession was “heavy,” the reunion host questioned if he was “disappointed” when he woke up from the hospital afterward. Ryan said he “asked that lady why she saved me.” Oof. At the time, the dad explained that the “depression, addiction” and “drama” with his estranged wife, Mackenzie, and police became too much for him and led to the overdose.

Thankfully it sounds like Ryan is in a better place. Moving forward, he wants to talk with his son Bentley Edwards about everything that’s happened – but only until he’s at a stage where “everyone knows that I’m doing okay.” Ryan also wants to be a better father, stay sober, and return to his job as a mechanic.

Jada Pinkett Smith opened up to People on Thursday about how “ridiculous” it was that she was the one blamed for the Oscars slap! Her husband Will Smith infamously struck Chris Rock during the ceremony last year after a terrible joke about her baldness. So it was about her, in a way. But it turns out Will and Jada weren’t even a couple at that time? Wild…

Addressing the worldwide attention — and the supposition she was the cause for the slap, she said “it was ridiculous in how far it went,” elaborating:

“But I also understood at the same time. Considering the false narrative that I had cheated on Will or I was like some adulteress, Will had never done that before. And I think that when we just look at human nature… when you look at the breadcrumbs, people need something to blame.”

Why was the “adulteress” narrative “false”? She and Will were open about her having an “entanglement” with August Alsina. Well, the explanation for that just came out this week. In an excerpt from Jada’s memoir, she dropped the bombshell that she and  Will had actually been separated since 2016! SEVEN YEARS! Well before The Slap!

Acknowledging the fact viewers were misled by their own secrecy, the Red Table Talk host downplayed her frustration, noting:

“And so people not knowing what was happening behind the scenes, I surely wasn’t surprised that I got blamed. But I understood that that’s just the human nature of it all.”

Even if they had been together, was the idea her cheating drove Will nuts? And that’s why he did what he did? That would still be nonsense even if they were still a couple. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum made his own decision — and she shouldn’t be the one taking the heat for the slap, whether or not she had an affair!

Frankly she shouldn’t have to say she’s not to blame because she wasn’t an “adulteress.” She wasn’t to blame because she wasn’t the one who overreacted. She did what she should have, which was give Rock the evil eye for his awful, outdated humor. If Will had done the same, we would have all been talking about how much of a jerk Chris was being instead of “the violence blah blah blah.”

For his part, Will has stood up for his wife from the beginning, insisting Jada “had nothing to do” with his inappropriate reaction while apologizing for his outburst.

As we all know, the architectural designer and her husband Kanye West caused a scene as they traveled around Europe the last few months, but now her family is speaking out after they were completely “snubbed” by the couple! Speaking to DailyMail.com on Wednesday, the 28-year-old’s relatives complained that she didn’t bother to meet up during her travels. Her cousin Fabiola Censori, from Giulianova (where Bianca’s grandparents reportedly emigrated from) told the outlet:

“We haven’t seen anything of Bianca’s family here for years. The eldest of my uncle’s children used to visit for a while but they stopped coming back to Italy years ago. I’ve never met Bianca but I would love to — it was a shame she didn’t come and visit us when she was here in Italy on holiday.”

Ahh, so they haven’t met before?? Well, that’s not as bad as ignoring a close relative!

But either way, the family is still hurt she didn’t use this trip as an opportunity to finally reach out — and they sound a little salty that they couldn’t meet the rapper at the same time! The cousin continued:

“We could have shown her where her dad and his brothers and sisters and her grandparents grew up. Her dad came here years ago and we had a beautiful evening together with all the family and it was wonderful to see him but as for Bianca and Kanye no comment. We feel a bit ignored.”

Another relative, who asked to be named Andrea, shared her two cents:

“I’ve never met Bianca but I’m hoping that next time she is in Italy she will come and visit us. I’ve heard all about her from other relatives and she sounds good fun – I imagine an evening out with her and Kanye would be very interesting.”

While Bianca and Ye haven’t addressed this snub, one reason they might not have made the visit is that the Yeezy designer reportedly has some seriously concerning rules for wifey. As in: she literally can’t talk! Last week, the outlet reported that the Praise God artist has demanded that the Australian “never speak” and that she follow a list of other rules, such as only eating certain foods, working out, and wearing what the Grammy winner wants her to wear. So, it wouldn’t have been much of a meeting if she wasn’t allowed to say anything!!

Besides, if Bianca is busy cutting off loved ones from her life amid her potentially toxic romance, we don’t see why she’d be inclined to suddenly welcome new people into her inner circle. Just saying!
