On Saturday night, the mega celebs made appearances at the Reform Alliance Charity auction in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and they sure made their respective presences known — by flirtatiously driving up the price on a high-end painting!

Sources told TMZ that when an exclusive George Condo piece was showcased at the auction, Kim started off the bids with a cool $500k. However, the NFL star quickly placed his own higher offer, launching an all-out bidding war between the two. The source dished that during their back and forth, the two were giddily laughing and shooting looks at one another, calling it all “super fun and flirty.”

They don’t speak broke! LOLz!! We wonder how all the other guests felt!

Eventually, the bids reached a whopping $2 million before the event hosts shut it down, promising both interested parties their own George Condo original — but the catch is they BOTH had to fork out the $2 mil they promised! You can see some of George’s work (below):

We’re sure they’re both still sitting pretty… and now with some beautiful art! They may not have worked out romantically, but there definitely seems to be some sort of spark there… We just wonder how Irina Shayk feels!

On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to unveil a REALLY professional-looking painting — and apparently her daughter North West is the artist behind the canvas??

A mix of pinks, oranges, reds, purples, blues, and more came together to create a completely beautiful beachy sunset, and the proud momma just HAD to show it off to her 364 million followers. She captioned the post:

“North has been working on this sunset landscape painting for a few weeks and it turned out so beautiful. I’m so proud of my baby.”

Amazing, right??

Well, some think it’s a little TOO amazing for a 10-year-old. In the comments, IG users seriously doubted the reality star’s daughter’s talents:

“Here we go again….”

“Kim we’re gunna need evidence because not a single person believes you”

Another fan noticed a less-than polished canvas in the background, joking it was actually North’s “real one.” Another poked fun at Khloé Kardashian and Scott Disick’s art prank on Kris Jenner, sarcastically asking:

However, there were some believers, too… One user asked how much the Kardashian kid’s “lessons” cost, while another pointed out “the hate is [big].” Some even suggested Kim give fans a behind-the-scenes look at North in action next time so we can all know it’s really her who’s doing the painting. In 2021, Danish artist Jens Haaning (that’s not him above btw, that’s Diego Luna) was commissioned to create a new piece for Kunsten Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg, and that he did! Well, sort of…

The museum put on an exhibition that was intended to portray labor conditions and salary in Denmark and Austria. The museum thought Jens would be the perfect guy for the job, as he’d previously featured a bank note representing average salaries in one of his works of art. It sounds like they pretty much wanted him to replicate that for them. For the gig, they provided him with the bank notes — and paid him the equivalent of about $84,000 to do the job… However, he had his own idea for the project.

Instead of turning in what they had in mind, Jens submitted two completely BLANK canvases — like, not a DROP of paint or anything to be seen — and simply titled them:

“Take the Money and Run”

We’re sorry, WHAT?? As a conceptual piece, it’s actually pretty funny. It’s literally a meta piece about a worker (aka HIM) stealing money from an employer!

At the time, Jens explained his decision to Danish broadcaster DR:

“The artwork is that I have taken the money. I encourage others who have just as miserable working conditions as I to do the same. If they are being asked to give money to go to work, then take the money and run.”

Ha! We guess when the museum hired him, they weren’t necessarily thinking of themselves as part of the labor industry that would be free game to criticize! LOLz!

We’ve gotta give him credit — the idea was definitely there. F**k the man, right??

However, the fun quickly came to a screeching halt, as KMOMA filed legal petitions to get Jens to repay the lump sum of cash — and a decision has finally been made two years after the kerfuffle. On Monday, a Copenhagen court ordered Jens to return ALL of the money — minus the artist’s fee and cost of mounting the work (and of paint, we guess, since that cost was zero) — so about $70,600, plus another $11,000 in legal fees. Jens told DR the same day:

“I am shocked, but at the same time it is exactly what I have imagined.”

Museum director Lasse Andersson told BBC that at the time of the bamboozlement, he honestly just couldn’t help but laugh:

“He stirred up my curatorial staff and he also stirred me up a bit, but I also had a laugh because it was really humoristic.”

The director ultimately DID display the “art” in the exhibit — but says he had to move forward with legalities, as it put him in an “unmanageable situation.”

Ha! At least they still got some use out of the project, right?! Though tbh if he displayed it and people came to see it, you’d think at least some of that money should have stayed in Haaning’s pocket.

The promo picture makes sense given the song has nods to the awards show, including the lyric “I’m slimin’ you for them kid choices you made.” But here is the issue – turns out Halle never gave Drake permission to use the photo of her for the cover of the song so she’s not happy with him now! She took to the ‘gram following the song’s release and posted a pink square with the words:

“Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!”

When a fan asked for her “thoughts of Drake using that picture of you for his single,” the 57-year-old actress made it clear she was disappointed:

“Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool I thought better of him ! hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on !”

Jeez. Clearly, she is upset over the photo!
