Jimmy Fallon queried the 29-year-old about his upcoming hosting gig for this weekend’s Saturday Night Live season debut:

“I know your mom is one of your biggest supporters, and I’ve seen her on the show. Is she coming [to SNL]?”

Pete replied that she WILL be there (yay!), and then turned the convo to his matchmaking idea for Amy:

“She’s very excited. She actually has been on the show almost as many times as I have. Like, she’s always ready. I’m really excited just because I’m trying to find my mom someone to date.”

Wait, what?! The Meet Cute star added:

“She hasn’t been with anybody in, like, 23 years. And she’s a good catch.”

Awww! Shooting his shot on behalf of momma Davidson, Pete asked Jimmy:

“Do you know anyone?”

Then, he turned to the audience and implored them to help:

“I’ve been trying to find someone nice for my mom.”

The 49-year-old late-night host tried to quiz Pete on what kind of man Amy might be looking for, but the stand-up star was no help on that front:

Of course, the timing of this chat about Amy is, uh, interesting. But you have to remember, The Tonight Show isn’t live! They film WAY early in the day to have time to edit, so that report wouldn’t even have come out yet! Just a coincidence, we guess. The Good American founder posted a carousel of cute pics on Instagram of the 5-year-old, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, posing in front of an arch of multi-colored balloons and decorative pencils. Also there was a sign that read, “First Day of Kindergarten.” Love it!

Of course, the 38-year-old former Bachelorette just announced that she and now-ex-fiancé Jason Tartick had decided to part ways and split up for good. And now, on the most recent episode of her popular podcast Off The Vine, the Canadian-born star is getting real about what that means for her future — specifically when it comes to family planning.

On Tuesday, the latest ep of the Bachelor Nation star’s aforementioned podcast debuted with quite a bit of discussion about her romantic future now that she is once again single. And it sounds like Kaitlyn is struggling with the thoughts of getting back out into the dating pool and trying to once again figure out a path forward.

In this week’s ep, she first got around to that discussion by focusing on one thing this breakup undoubtedly means: that she won’t be having kids with Jason. Or, she presumes, at any point in the very near future without a partner by her side.

Referencing a convo she had at the beginning of the podcast about technology’s creeping influence on society, Kaitlyn first harkened back to some of her concerns about society’s digital future:

“This is a very deep conversation and deep question, but I have a huge fear of having kids because all of this [digital technology and social media], because of what life could look like in ten years, with all the things we’re talking about.”

Then, she went into a discussion about how that relates to her own life.

For one, the former reality TV leading lady said she is “more and more terrified to have kids” as time keeps passing. And even though she has forever wanted “to be a mom,” the ABC alum explained how there’s a ton of shame and guilt with it because of the fact that it hasn’t happened yet:

“And I always thought having a family would be, I can’t wait. I want to be a mom, all these things. And each year that goes on, I get more and more terrified to have kids. And then there’s shame around that too. Because how could you not want to? That’s what you are born to do is procreate, to do this. And you know, the shame around all that with not having kids.”

Oof.

Girl!! We just want to, like, give you a hug!! We hate that she’s feeling this way. And we totally get how emotions are running high following her and Tartick’s shocking split. But UGH!! Somebody, please, give her a hug or something! Send her some support!

Then, while referencing that shame and worry about social media judgment, Kaitlyn concluded:

“I, of course, want to lead by example, and that’s such a huge part of parenting. Again, this all goes back to it’s probably not even I know the answer. It’s probably I’m worried about what people on social media are gonna say about a girl who’s single again and 38 and not having a family.”

We get it. And we get that the social media stuff would be an issue for her — or any Bachelor Nation alum who has a massive public profile and tons and tons of very active followers online.

As Perezcious readers may recall, just after her split from Tartick was first announced back on Sunday, Bristowe popped up on Instagram to reveal that she was going to be taking a serious social media break. So, clearly she’s concerned about what reality TV fans and critics have to say about her personal choices. That’s not ideal, to say the least.

All we can really do is send love and light to both her and Tartick during this difficult time of transition…

On Tuesday, reports started flying that the Bridget Jones’ Diary star is engaged (!!!) to Ant Anstead! But just hours after those initial reports started popping up, other insiders offered clarification that an engagement is supposedly not a thing. So which is it??

First, the engagement news that kicked this all off… According to a report from The Sun that was published early on Tuesday afternoon, the 54-year-old A-list movie star and the 44-year-old British TV host are planning on tying the knot after a low-key engagement that is barely being murmured about by insiders close to the couple!

Per that outlet, Ant apparently popped the question and Renée apparently said YES! A “friend” of the couple claimed the duo is not down to make a big public deal about their waltz towards the aisle, tho:

“Renée and Ant are keeping their plans incredibly private. They’re not planning a big public announcement. She has been telling her inner circle about organizing their nuptials, everything will be very low-key.”

But even without public pronouncements or social media fanfare, the Jerry Maguire alum and her TV-presenter fiancé would seem to be “madly in love” with each other at this juncture:

“Her relationship with Ant is super strong and they’re madly in love, and they can’t wait to get hitched.”

Awww! That’s so sweet. We love love!

…But wait!!!

According to a second report that was published hours later on Tuesday evening, Renée and Ant are actually NOT engaged!

This second reveal came in the pages of People. That outlet did not quote a source, but they simply said “wedding bells are not yet ringing” for Renée and Ant “despite a report” of their engagement coming earlier in the day.

Now, People did confirm that the couple is still living together happily. We’ve known that for a while — ever since Ant’s big spring 2023 move to sell his beloved Laguna Beach home and shack up with Renée. But obviously, living together and prepping to walk down the aisle are very, very different.

So maybe hold off on any congratulations, y’all. Seems like The Sun jumped the gun on the engagement report? Or something?? People is legit 99% of the time.

The (possibly premature) engagement reveal does come at a very significant time for the happy couple.

On Monday, they popped up together on Instagram along with Ant’s two teenage children — daughter Amelie, 19, and son Archie, 16. That was a MAJOR first for Renée to be shown with the kids! And a definite sign that things are going great in their world!

And yet, as you can see for yourself in the image (below), Renée was not wearing a ring on THAT finger for the snap:

So, perhaps Renée’s ring-less look would seem to confirm People‘s late Tuesday evening engagement denial.

Of course, they’ve both suffered plenty of heartbreak in the past. Ant notably married interior design and real estate TV star Christina Hall back in 2018, and even welcomed a son with her in 2019, before that duo split early in 2021.

As for Renée, she was briefly married to country singer Kenny Chesney in 2005. Along with that relationship, she was with musician Doyle Bramhall for a seven-year courtship that ended in 2019. And she’s been romantically linked to the likes of Bradley Cooper, Jack White, and Jim Carrey, as well.

The 35-year-old star is already the mom to two cute little kids, of course. She shares 10-year-old son King Cairo with rapper Tyga, and 6-year-old daughter Dream with reality TV vet Rob Kardashian. But if it were up to her, she’d have more kids! So she herself claims in a new interview, at least!

The Rob & Chyna alum spoke to The Sun on Thursday, and in her chat, Chyna confirmed she wants two (!!) more children to go along with King Cairo and Dream!

First off, she told the outlet she is 100% done with Twin Hector, confirming he’s now out of the picture. She even went so far as to call him a leech — and then backed off the claim as a joke! Chyna dished:

“You don’t have to say his name. No more little leeches. No, I’m just kidding!”

Oof!

Turning to the topic of children, tho, it sounds like Chyna very much wants to procreate. (Just not with Twin Hector.)

While she hasn’t found the right man for the fatherhood gig, she explained that having two more children has very much been on her mind:

“I’m single right now, but I do wanna have more kids. Two more. They can’t grow up by themselves.”

That reasoning is fair. But wow! We know Chyna has been making a lot of changes lately, but adding two more kids to the mix would be a BIG change as her current two keep growing!

Speaking of Dream and King Cairo’s quick and steady development, Chyna told the outlet how parenting is going:

“Life is great with them. It’s so funny because it goes by really fast. People tell you like, ‘oh, it goes by fast,’ but it really does.”

And it’s not just the kids who are benefitting from healthy interactions! It sounds like the proud momma’s back-and-forth with both of her exes is going remarkably smoothly, too!

Of course, show discipline — what’s right, what’s wrong, but just really whatever it is that they want to do.”

That was good to hear from when we reported on it back on Wednesday, especially because there has been related drama stirring on recent eps of the famous fam’s Hulu show!! But everything seems pretty chill for Chyna now.

And now, even beyond the gender announcement itself, we’ve got all the details from the weekend’s family-friendly, rock ‘n’ roll-themed reveal bash. Just like they always do, the KarJenners held nothing back on this one. It looked so fun! And it’s giving parenting perfection!!!

The Poosh founder took to her Instagram account throughout the day on Sunday to share video clips and photos from the get-together. The whole thing had a rock star twist to it, which makes sense considering how the 47-year-old dad-to-be is Blink-182‘s talented drummer.

The house hosting the shindig was filled with black and silver balloons, for one. All attendees “checked in” at a will call table to receive a “backstage pass” style lanyard with a placard for the event. From there, partygoers were offered disposable cameras to snap pics commemorating the outing. Kourt offered up a “Baby Barker World Tour” sign welcoming guests to the show party, as well.

Just like a rock show, wristbands were handed out, too! But these didn’t signify drink access or backstage passes. Instead, they were pink and blue — and each guest got one in the color of what they guessed the baby’s gender would be.

Great idea!!

Food offered up at the party gave off major festival vibes, as well. Nachos, hot dogs, pizza, and all the rest were available for guests, along with plenty of vegan offerings for Travis’ ilk. For dessert, rocker cookies were appropriately decorated as microphones and “Mom” heart tattoos. Then, to top it off, a cake came out with a million tiny little black hearts all over it. A true badass rocker aesthetic the whole way through!

There were some baby-appropriate items there, too. Most notably, on a drink table in the center of the house’s opened foyer, there were baby’s breath flowers all over the place. A nice gentle touch for the Lemme founder while her happy husband enjoyed the hard rock vibes throughout the rest of the event! LOLz!

Notably, the 44-year-old Kardashians star rocked a baby blue outfit for the big day. She made light of that in one early Sunday IG Stories snap, pondering whether it was “mommy’s instinct” that she chose the color. Of course, hours later, the whole world found out mother’s intuition was right on the money — since the big moment revealed the coming child to be a boy. So there!
