On Tuesday Meghan and Prince Harry held a panel discussion at the first Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit titled “Mental Wellness in a Digital Age” — a World Mental Health Day event hosted by Project Healthy Minds. the Sussexes opened up to the NYC crowd about their kiddos Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The conversation about the little ones began a bit heavier than expected. Moderator Carson Daly asked the couple about the secret work they’ve been doing with tech companies and parents who have lost children due to online bullying and other consequences of social media. Some of these bereaved parents also spoke at the event. The Suits alum revealed, via People:

“A year ago we met some of the families and at the time, it was impossible not to be in tears hearing their stories because it’s just that devastating.”

Although she knows her kids are still “really young,” she and Harry realize social media “isn’t going away” and will be something they’ll have to tackle eventually.

Taking this super seriously, the Spare author shared:

“I think for us, for myself and my wife, with kids growing up in a digital age, the priority here is to again turn pain into purpose and provide as much support as well as a spotlight and a platform for these parents to come together, to heal, to grieve and to also collectively focus on solutions so that no other family anywhere has to go through what they’ve been through.”

It was at the end of the panel that the Today co-host wondered if the actress’ POV on the topic has changed now that she is not only “a kick-ass woman, but as a mom.” She gushed while gesturing to her hubby:

“Being a mom is the most important thing in my entire life — outside, of course, being a wife to this one.”

Awww!

Because of the immense love she has for her children, the Archetypes host finds herself scared as the 4-year-old and 2-year-old grow up, she expressed:

“But I will say I feel fortunate that our children are at an age, again quite young, so this isn’t in our immediate future, but I also feel frightened at how it’s continuing to change and this will be in front of us. They say being a parent, the days are long but the years are short, so it worries me, but I’m also given a lot of hope and energy by the progress we’ve made in the past year being able to have these incredible parents, these survivors of these experiences, share their stories and the more information gathering we’re able to do, the more we can move the needle a little bit.”

We hope she doesn’t get too freaked out and just enjoys this phase of her life! After all, we don’t think Archie and Lili will be getting on social media anytime soon! Meghan Markle‘s father has called out his daughter and her husband Prince Harry once again for their “cruel” decision to ban him from meeting his grandkids! Damn!

In an interview with Good Morning Britain on Monday morning, Thomas, who is recovering from a stroke that left him unable to speak, told the hosts he hasn’t seen Meghan and Harry “in five years” — and still hasn’t “seen [his] grandkids,” revealing:

“I’m very upset about it as well because this is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent … to deny the right to see their grandchild.”

Well, that’s one way to look at it, and a selfish one at that. What’s most important for the child sometimes means what’s best and healthiest for the parents too. From the looks of it, Thomas has repeatedly overstepped boundaries to the detriment of his daughter and son-in-law’s mental health and wellbeing. It’s understandable if they have hesitations.

Thomas believes King Charles III hasn’t been allowed to see Prince Archie or Princess Lilibet either, but it hasn’t been confirmed what kind of relationship the monarch has with his son’s children at this time.

Either way, the 79-year-old continued to complain:

“The other thing is I’ve done nothing wrong. There’s nothing that points to say I’m a bad guy. I’m a really loving father and she knows that, and there’s no excuse for treating me this way … no excuse to treat grandparents that way.”

He’s “done nothing wrong.” Hmm. Well, we think the Suits alum would disagree! She and her pops have been estranged since before her royal wedding in 2018 thanks to a staged paparazzi photo shoot and the scandals that followed. No matter how many times Thomas has pushed for reconciliation, he’s never taken accountability for any wrongdoing — and the estrangement has only gotten worse. And it could get even uglier! We mean, if he can’t respect his own daughter’s wishes, how does that bode for the grandchild?

Thomas went on to point out that there’s a law in California that allows grandparents to get a court order forcing parents to let them see their grandkids! At this time, he insisted he’s not going to take legal action, but the very fact he’s dangling this info on live TV feels a bit like a threat — and only proves why one might feel uncomfortable around him!

The Suits alum has finally joined Harry in the UK to cheer on the competitors at the Invictus Games in Germany. She arrived on Tuesday and made her grand entrance at a Family & Friends party. She was then spotted alongside the Duke of Sussex on Wednesday at the wheelchair basketball tournament.

All eyes were on the couple during their appearances. Thus, that’s when people noticed Meghan has ditched her engagement ring! What??

The husband and wife have been at the center of split rumors all summer, so is this a bad sign?! Well, apparently not!

People learned on Wednesday that the actress’ three-stone ring is being fixed after a setting came loose. Reports first surfaced in mid-August claiming the ring was being repaired, so it’s taking a while! The Spare author personally designed the bling with Cleave & Company ahead of their engagement, so it makes sense they’re taking their time to properly fix the special piece!

While the former Deal or No Deal briefcase girl wasn’t wearing her engagement ring at the events, she was wearing several other meaningful pieces of jewelry! Eternity rings typically represent a special occasion, and given the timeline, the Archetypes host’s could be to mark their first wedding anniversary or the birth of Prince Archie. Sweet!

Speaking of, her little ones were on her mind when Meghan gave a speech at the family and friends party, too! The 41-year-old took the stage with heartwarming words, in which she gave a shout-out to Archie and Princess Lilibet, saying this via Hello! Magazine:

“It is so special to be here, and I’m so sorry that I was a little late for the party. Just like so many of you, we know this is about family and friends and the community that Invictus has created, that Fisher House has created, and so I had to just spend a little bit more time getting our little ones settled home.”

Perhaps referencing her latest sighting at In-N-Out, she added:

“Getting milkshakes, doing school drop off and then I just landed a couple of hours ago. I am thrilled that the first event that I can do with Invictus is here with all of you. […] It is amazing, and I hear the week so far has been off to a good start — is that right?”

The Duchess went on to thank Fisher House for hosting the event. The organization provides a home away from home for military and veteran families while their loved ones are receiving treatment. Recalling a visit to one of the homes in LA, she continued:

“I was fortunate to go and visit one of their houses in Los Angeles just a couple of weeks ago and I was so moved by everything that they do. As they understand, as you do, as my husband does in creating the Invictus Games, how much the value of rehabilitation matters not just as a solitary experience, but as a family. So I’m really proud to be part of this Invictus family with all of you. I’m grateful for all of you that are here. We’ve also received a few gifts from the Canadian team. We got a bracelet and on that bracelets, they put the initials of one of the people who wasn’t able to make it here tonight.”

And she added:

“There are so many people we know back home who are rooting for all of you, even if they can’t be here [with] you, they are here in spirit. Thank you, thank you also for this amazing band and we’re looking forward to such a fantastic week. […] Have the best time, we’re cheering for you, and we can’t wait to bring our kids also so they can experience just how awesome this is. Thank you guys so so much.”

Lovely!

She may not have an engagement ring on, but that seems to be no indication there’s real trouble in paradise! She seemed so happy to be able to support Harry’s endeavors in person!

In the just-released docuseries Heart of Invictus, the Duke of Sussex shared the best bit of advice he gives his children, particularly as they grow up and figure out what they want to do with their lives. In a clip from his opening ceremony speech at the Invictus Games in The Hague last April, Harry praised the “boundless humility, the compassion and the friendship” of the competitors at the event, adding:

“To be role models, or the role models that each of you are, takes strength and it takes courage.”

Discussing his and Meghan Markle‘s firstborn, he continued:

“When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it’s an astronaut, other days it’s a pilot — a helicopter pilot obviously — or Kwazii from Octonauts.”

The Suits alum previously shared that was the little man’s favorite show. Hah!

The 38-year-old Spare author continued:

“But what I remind him is that no matter what you want to be when you grow up, it’s your character that matters most, and nothing would make his mum and me prouder than to see him have the character of what we see before us today.”

So sweet… and great advice! The Archewell founder went on to add that everyone involved in the Invictus Games has “overcome immense challenges” and therefore “are healing and teaching the world as you go.” If you don’t know, Harry founded the multi-sport event for wounded servicemen and women, including those who are still serving and veterans, in 2014.

Later in the Netflix series, King Charles III‘s son could be seen wearing a baseball hat that read “Papa Bear,” another nod to his family since he previously revealed that’s what Archie calls him. Adorbz!

Meghan and Prince Harry have made enemies out of their UK relatives ever since walking away from their roles as senior working royals in 2020. Despite pleas to stop, they’ve continued to call out King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Catherine in various tell-all media projects, only deepening their estrangement.

So, we were surprised to learn the Suits alum might be changing her mind when it comes to the royals! Speaking to People on Wednesday, a California source claimed Meghan is taking a “much softer approach about Harry’s family.”

While this doesn’t mean they are going to reconcile anytime soon, the insider explained Meghan is doing her best to be less “negative” about the dynamic, they elaborated:

“The situation with his father and brother is still very difficult for him. Meghan is always supportive of it though. She used to be negative about it. It seems she has kind of moved on now.”

We hope she hasn’t totally moved on — as if none of this mattered to her — because, otherwise, what was all this for?! Harry lost his whole family to fight for Meghan!

Instead of worrying about the royal drama, the Archetypes host “just wants to focus on their kids and their life in Montecito.” It helps that there is such a big physical distance between them and their estranged family! The source pointed out:

“They have moved continents. They have set up a new life with their kids.”

The insider continued:

“[They] are very united when it comes to family values and how to raise their kids. They are both great parents. Their kids are their world.”

Nowadays, the Sussexes’ “goal” is for Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, to “have a normal life as much as possible.” This includes a “very play-based” upbringing:

“They have several play areas, including a climbing gym on their property.”

Alongside playdates, they also spend lots of time at the beach with their parents, and Archie is in a regular school where Meghan picks him up like any other momma, a Montecito resident noted:

“She talks to everyone; there is no pretense.”

Addressing their life in Montecito further, a friend said they mostly keep to themselves unless they go out to eat, enjoy a beach day, or hit up a local market, sharing:

“They’re not into a big scene. They prefer smaller group hangouts at home, karaoke, that sort of thing. […] Harry’s a beer and steak-and-potatoes kind of dude. They’re playful and flirty when they’re hanging out.”

Montecito Journal columnist and local resident Richard Mineards added his two cents:

“They’re making a life here. It’s a good environment to be educated in.”

But they are reportedly considering a move to Malibu, so as much as they might like their current town, change could be on the horizon!

On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a brand new video for the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund. Via their Archewell Foundation, they are founding members of the initiative and will help in awarding $2 million in grants to youth-led groups working to make the internet a more inclusive, equitable, and accountable place.

In the aforementioned vid, the couple could be seen sitting on a bench outside as they called several lucky grant recipients and shared the good news. And they couldn’t have looked happier!

We’re no body language experts, but the way they were turned in to face each other with big grins the whole time, it really seems like they are happy and fulfilled right now — no matter what might be said about their disastrous Hollywood careers and rumored relationship troubles.

At one point during the congratulatory chats, Harry even mentioned their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet while thanking a young activist for helping make the world a better place for them, saying:

“Thank you for doing everything that you do. Our kids especially are incredibly grateful.”

“They don’t know it yet, but they will!”

The Duke of Sussex is used to putting other people on blast now that he’s a published author — but now he’s getting a taste of his own medicine. One of his angry neighbors has just called him out for allegedly being incredibly rude after moving to the Santa Barbara town back in 2020.

As we all know, the Sussexes were fleeing England at the time amid intense media scrutiny. They eventually opened up and claimed mental health issues and alleged racism from the royal family led them to make the major move, leaving behind their roles as senior working royals. While they were seeking a fresh start in the West Coast, they apparently weren’t very friendly when an elderly neighbor tried to welcome them!

Frank McGinity, an 88-year-old US Navy veteran who lives a “tiara’s toss or two” away from the Archewell founders, just revealed as much in his new memoir, Get Off Your Street: A Personal Travelogue.

According to the Montecito Journal via the Independent on Monday, in a chapter of the new book out in April, Frank claims he tried to gift Harry and Meghan with a set of films he made about the history of the area — but they rejected them! Setting the scene, he wrote:

“I have a big house next to Harry and Meghan’s property and I live in the guest house while renting the main house out on Airbnb.”

The writer continued:

“Harry and Meghan live on old McCormick property and I went up to their gate with the films on a CD, but they weren’t interested.”

Per his recollection, a security guard at the gate turned him away — pretty harshly, too! He noted:

“The gate guy turned me away and wouldn’t take the film, just saying ‘they’re not interested.’ I was trying to be neighborly.”

Jeez! It’s hard to know if Harry and Meg ever even knew about the gift. We could easily picture a scenario in which their guard just shooed the stranger out of an abundance of caution. This was an incredibly high-profile and stressful time for them! Still… it’s not very nice!

As for what it’s like to live next to royalty, Frank added this jab:

“We don’t see them very much around here. It’s surprising they came here. People are typically older. It’s where the elephants come to die.”

As Perezcious readers know, the couple moved to the property in July 2020 with Prince Archie (and they have since welcomed their daughter Princess Lilibet). They supposedly dropped $14,650,000 on the 18,000-square-foot property, which features rose gardens, century-old olive trees, a tennis court, a tea house, a children’s cottage, a pool, and a two-bedroom guest cottage.

That said, new reports from express.com.au this week claim the duo is looking to buy a place in Malibu, where they would be closer to the action as they focus their attention on conquering Hollywood. It’s unclear if they would ditch their Montecito property or just buy an additional home. So, Frank might not have to worry about his unfriendly neighbors much longer!

It’s worth mentioning, though, that Harry and Meghan have been much kinder to more recent visitors. For Archie’s fourth birthday this year, the owners of Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop hand-delivered a bike to him on his special day! One of the owners, Martin Blevins, reportedly just walked it over to the little boy’s house unannounced and left it with a guard alongside flowers, balloons, and a card. And guess what?! They received a thoughtful thank you letter weeks later! A very different reaction to Frank’s film! So, maybe the veteran just caught the couple on an off day?? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been a hot topic lately amid Radar Online reports that they are facing marital troubles.

An insider for the outlet claimed last week that Prince William‘s little brother was supposedly “taking time apart” from his wife in hopes of rebuilding their bond. Apparently, he needs to “find himself” again and “doesn’t fit in Meghan’s tacky Tinseltown world.” Oof. Deux Moi then claimed via Instagram that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were no longer living together amid rumors they may have sold their Montecito pad.

But a Page Six insider, who is said to be close to the couple, quickly denied ALL the latest speculation. And now, we seem to be getting more evidence that things aren’t as dire as they seemed.

It turns out Harry and Meghan really are looking to make a move — but not one that would tear them apart permanently. On Monday, a confidant told express.com.au that the Archewell founders “have secretly visited” properties in Malibu, California, where they hope to move soon. According to the insider, “it is uncertain if they will sell Montecito or just add a Malibu spot to buy,” but they are set on getting closer to the glitz and glam of Hollywood:

“Harry and Meghan are reviewing their living options with Malibu being a place of interest.”

They continued:

“They have secretly visited the area a couple of times and have been out and about, looking at what’s there. And Meghan knows parts of the region from being there as a kid.”

As for their main desire to switch things up, the source noted the decision is tied to the Suits alum’s desire to get back into the entertainment industry. Since she has “shift[ed] gears to focus back on Hollywood after inking a contract with [talent agency] WME,” it only makes sense she’d try to get closer to where the action is happening. The insider explained:

“Being close to Beverly Hills and LA where the deals are done is smart. […] And of course there is a real Malibu scene where major stars, producers and studio executives all hang out, socialise and get deals done during dinner and beach parties.”

They continued:

“Meghan has friends who live in the area and she likes spots like Soho House. Certainly Prince Harry and Meghan would be welcome at many major parties and would be desired guests.”

So much for claims Harry wanted out of Tinseltown! LOLz!

That said, this move might not be entirely determined by business! The parents also have their kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to think about — and with Archie approaching the time to enroll for kindergarten, they’ll have schooling decisions to make in the near future. The confidant noted that while “home schooling may be the norm” for many wealthy families in the area, many celeb kiddos also “enjoy normal schools” in Malibu, sharing:

“The Sussexes have decisions to make soon regarding their children’s schooling as Archie turns five next year. […] Home schooling may be the norm for many high earners in the state, but Malibu’s schools are popular with celebrity parents. Malibu has loads of star kids enjoying normal schools.”

We could see this being a very important factor for them right now! And if they are having marital issues, maybe a fresh start would help?!

Also, the mere fact they’re house hunting together seems to prove the rumors were all fake! After all, if they were about to break up, it wouldn’t make sense to be buying another house right now! But what do U think is going on here? Sound OFF (below)!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down for a candid conversation in a CBS tell-all which aired in March 2021, shortly after they exited their roles as working royals and moved to California.

The interview would end up revealing allegations of mistreatment and racism the Sussexes reportedly had to deal with from the prestigious family, including conversations about the couple’s then-unborn son Prince Archie‘s skin color. Innerestingly, Harry has since denied ever accusing the royals of being racist, but rather of exhibiting unconscious bias.

It was a tumultuous time for the entire royal family, but it seems Will may have been feeling the most guilty going in — because he was so worried he couldn’t eat, per sources!

In a heated debate on Dan Wootton‘s GB News on Tuesday, Mail on Sunday‘s Editor-at-Large, Charlotte Griffiths, declared:

“I’ve heard this for a long time now from many different sources … in the lead-up to that Oprah interview, William was quite literally sick with worry. He was not eating, and he became — not reclusive — but he definitely was hiding away. He went to a royal residence for a period of time to cut himself off from the world. He was just in bits, basically.”

Later, the reporter stressed how serious the situation was, adding:

“Literally, he couldn’t eat for a week before the Oprah interviews.”

All because he was worried about what Harry would say? Jeez. Does this mean he thought he had a reason to be nervous?! Despite all this anticipation, Harry went pretty easy on his older brother, compared to others, in the Oprah sit-down — much unlike he did in Spare! Was he worried something else would be revealed? Like the story about him hitting Harry? Something else??

Unlike Will, Princess Catherine, AKA Kate Middleton, got “steely” as she was ready to step in to “protect” her husband, Charlotte shared:

“And what Kate was doing was standing by her man. Kate was like, ‘I’ve got to stick up for this guy and protect him. He’s being destroyed by this,’ and that probably made her quite steely, even though she has this reputation for being shy. But when it comes to protecting her husband, she’s going to step in and protect him.”

This comes after it was revealed Kate and William fought to make sure Queen Elizabeth II‘s statement after the TV special hit back as hard as possible at the racism claims.

In an excerpt of the paperback edition of Valentine Low‘s book Courtiers, he claimed the Prince and Princess of Wales campaigned for the inclusion of the phrase “some recollections may vary” in the statement. As Perezcious readers know, Elizabeth said at the time:

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

The phrase in question was key to showing the royal family did not stand by everything their estranged relative had declared. It was the shadiest line by far in the response — and it almost didn’t make it into the official press release, Valentine wrote:

“It had a much milder version. The debate was, do your rise entirely above it and offer the olive branch of (Harry and Meghan being) ‘much loved members of the family’? Or is there some moment when you have to intervene and offer a view?”

Thanks to the Cambridges, a more aggressive version was published:

“They wanted it toughened up a bit. They were both of one mind that we needed something that said that the institution did not accept a lot of what had been said.”

Kate and Will’s plan worked! And we could likely be seeing more strategic moves like this in the future. According to Low’s source, the mother of three is now “playing the long game” as she knows she’ll be queen one day. So, she’s preparing for her big moment when she’s really in charge. And, let’s just say, that doesn’t bode well for Harry or Meghan if all this is true! If William and Kate haven’t softened to the couple at this point, who knows if the feud will ever resolve itself…

Literally right after snubbing Prince Harry by not inviting him and his wife Meghan Markle to Saturday’s Trooping the Colour, the new monarch celebrated Father’s Day by taking a walk down memory lane.

On Sunday, the royal family’s official Twitter account posted a throwback family photo featuring the 74-year-old and a younger Harry and Prince William on a rocky terrain. The account shared:

“To Dads everywhere, we wish you a very special Father’s Day today.”

We’re glad Harry was included, but what wild timing! Guess the 38-year-old hasn’t totally been erased from the family… even if he might never appear at a royal event again! Maybe this was Charles’ way of making up for the diss?!

Similarly, William also celebrated the special day with a photo of his own. On Instagram, he marked the occasion with two candid shots posing alongside his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. It’s so cute — look!
