Adele's Father Claims They've Patched Things Up & 'Everything's Fine' While Admitting Being A Terrible Father In The Past -- Details HERE

There’s nothing like family!
Adele and her father Marc Evans — who left the singer and her mom when the Grammy winner was just a little girl — have reportedly gotten over their tiff — at least according to him.
Just a few years ago, the Hello singer claimed that she would “spit at him in the street” as a result of comments he made about her abandonment issues being the reason she had problems with men. She even went as far as to say “He will never hear from me again.”

Well if Evans is to be believed, it sounds like their bad blood is behind them!
He recently said in an interview:

“Adele and I are fine, it was a misunderstanding.”

Hmm, very inneresting!
He went on to say:

“We’ve patched things up, everything’s fine, but I don’t want to make further comment.”

Wise choice. The more you say, the greater a chance there is to lodge your foot in your mouth!
A source close to the situation shed some light on the father-daughter make up saying:

“It was very difficult for them but it’s lovely that they have been able to come through all those years of hurt. Marc is thrilled and doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize their relationship this time.”

It’s speculated that the Someone Like You singer and her dad made amends only a year after her harsh comments as a result of him begging her for forgiveness after revealing he was battling bowel cancer. Woof.

Marc desperately wanted to make things right so he could have some sort of relationship with his grandson Angelo, who the songstress had with her partner Simon Konecki.
The reconciliation is said to have happened after the Oscar winner’s dad had 11 potentially deadly tumors removed from his colon.
Marc, who left Adele and her mother when she was only three, also admitted he was a terrible father and drank quite a bit in an attempt to numb the pain of losing his own father to cancer.
It’s always sad to hear about family spats but we hope it’s true that everything is all good between them.
After all, every girl needs her daddy, and every daddy needs his little girl!
