According to People, the 40-year-old comedian was taken into custody and charged with a DUI and fleeing the scene of a traffic collision on Sunday. Sgt. Stephen Turner explained that officers from the Burbank Police Department in California responded to a single vehicle collision around 9:30 a.m. that day. When authorities arrived at the scene, eyewitnesses told them the driver crashed his vehicle into a tree before fleeing from the area on foot:

“Witnesses relayed the driver of a white Tesla collided with a tree and the driver fled on foot. Based on witness description, the driver was located just a few blocks east of the scene and detained pending [an] investigation.”

Thankfully, Turner noted “no other vehicles were involved, and nobody was injured.” After speaking with the witness and Jeff, cops decided to arrest the television personality at 9:56 a.m. He was booked into the Burbank Jail about an hour later before being released without bail at 1:04 p.m.

While the Who the BLEEP Is That? host hasn’t publicly spoken out about the accident, his attorney, Andrew B. Leventhal, told the outlet:

“Although no one was injured, this is a traumatic event for Jeff. We ask that you reserve judgment and respect his privacy as I take care of this matter. He is presumed innocent.”

A traumatic event for Jeff. Huh. Well, thankfully it was a tree and not some innocent person he hit.

Hmm. Meanwhile, a source shared that those close to Jeff are “concerned for him and hope he gets the help he needs” now. Wow. If he’s truly struggling, we hope this accident ends up being a wake-up call for him to get some help.

Jace Evans is safe with his grandmother Barbara Evans at this time.

We’ve all been concerned for Jenelle Evans‘ son after he ran away from home for the third time last month, and then accused his stepdad David Eason of allegedly physical abuse. When cops finally found him, they spotted visible markings on the boy’s body suggesting his claims could be valid — and there was even reportedly Ring camera footage of the incident in question. Last we heard, the teen was in a North Carolina hospital while Child Protective Services started a child neglect investigation.

Now, we have some positive news. According to a source familiar with the situation who spoke to The US Sun on Wednesday, the 14-year-old was just released from the hospital on Tuesday — after over a week-long stay. Whoa…

While CPS still has custody of him, Barbara petitioned a court to regain custody last week. If you didn’t know, she cared for Jace from when he was a toddler until March of this year when the parental rights transitioned back to his mother. During a hearing on Wednesday, it was determined Jace could stay with his grandma for the time being, which is seemingly what he wanted. According to a previous US Sun source, Jace “told everyone [that] if he is sent back” to live with Jenelle and David, “he will run again.” That is doubly concerning, too, since the family home is in the “middle of nowhere.”

Per the latest insider, there will be another hearing later this month to check on how things are going. So far, it is unclear if this situation will become permanent. But that’s not all…

Even more notably, the source revealed the Teen Mom 2 alum is NOT allowed to see or speak to her son unless he is the one who initiates the contact. David, on the other hand, has been banned from any kind of interaction with Jace. Considering the serious allegations levied against Eason — and his history with alleged assault charges and admittedly killing the family dog — this is probably a good thing, especially while the investigation runs its course.

In response to a request for comment, the MTV personality’s spokesperson tried to downplay the situation, saying:

“Jace is visiting with Barbara.”

Hmmm…

Meanwhile, a CPS official declined to confirm a rumored investigation into David’s actions and also refused to comment on Barbara gaining custody. Jenelle’s other son, Kaiser, 9, whom she shares with Nathan Griffith, the daughter she shares with David, Ensley, 6, and his daughter, Maryssa, 14, are all currently still living in the family home with the alleged abuser.  FWIW, David has denied the allegations thus far.

In a video of the incident posted to Instagram, the musician abruptly stops talking mid-sentence when he notices the man behind him — just feet away! OMG! MGK instantly jumped to his feet with his hands balled into fists, yelling:

“My man, get the f**k away from me.”

However, he quickly tried to calm himself and talk the man down, saying:

“Yo, what are you doing? What are you doing? This is a bad look. Don’t make me do this.”

Moments later, two security guards ran onto the stage and carried the man away before he could reach the Emo Girl performer. It’s unclear what his motivation was, though, per Variety, the fan whispered to the 33-year-old:

“I got you, man. I want to help you out here.”

Creepy!

During the frantic moment, it appeared like the Bad Things artist’s microphone was turned off and the live stream briefly cut out, giving him a second to cool off and return to his seat. Once calmed down, he apologized for his “primal reaction,” telling the audience:

“I’m sorry, I try to live the dichotomy more on this side than the other guy. I left that guy in the past. I’m really sorry… And I do apologize for my primal reaction.”

But Forbes interviewer Kristin Stoller didn’t think he had a reason to be sorry, stressing that he handled the situation “amazingly.” The crowd also cheered for him, co-signing her take on the unnerving moment.

Britney Spears got pulled over last month, and received a hefty fine!

TMZ got the scoop on Tuesday. Apparently, the pop star was busted on the road by a California Highway Patrol Officer in Ventura County on September 10. Per court docs, she was cited for two infractions — driving without a valid license in her possession and driving without proof of insurance. Uh oh!

As for why she got pulled over in the first place? Law enforcement sources told the outlet she was speeding way too fast in her white Mercedes, reportedly going 61 mph in a 40 mph zone. Dang!

The good thing is the singer was said to be cooperative during the traffic stop and was only given a warning for her speed. So, had she had the other documentation, she would’ve driven away as if nothing had happened! She’s lucky this wasn’t worse! There’s been such a pattern of celebs driving out of control lately. We hope she takes this incident seriously and keeps herself safe in general. Not exactly the news we wanna hear after she’s been popping up on Instagram visibly injured after playing with knives. Just saying!

Over the weekend, the Circus singer posted — and then quickly deleted — a new video of herself in a black top, leopard bottoms, and black boots flaunting a severely bandaged right index finger! Yikes!

While she’s not seen with any knives in the new video, the injury couldn’t be more obvious. Take a look!

That’s a large bandage! Interestingly, the 41-year-old appeared to be fine otherwise, dancing as usual and all that. But she must’ve realized showing off the injury wasn’t a good idea, because she very quickly removed it from her page. She replaced it with a different dancing video (seemingly a throwback since there was a Christmas tree in the background). This clip noticeably did not include any visible cuts, scrapes, or bruises.

Hmm… It’s a nice attempt to get people to forget about the injury, but we’d say the damage was already done. Literally and figuratively!

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ on Thursday, the 30-year-old singer went to court this week to file a temporary restraining order against a 52-year-old man named Alexander Kardalian, who allegedly has been obsessed with and stalking her for a while. Miley claimed he has sent her letters since 2018, often asking for money and making sexually explicit comments about her. WTF?!

Alexander’s “obsessive behavior” worsened back in the summer of 2022 when he allegedly showed up at her home in Los Angeles twice. He was removed from the property both times. Months later that same year, he was arrested and put behind bars at the San Quentin State Prison in California.

While in prison, Miley says Alexander still sent a letter to her saying he planned on coming to her house when he got out. And he stayed true to his word! Once he was released from jail in August of 2023, The Climb songstress alleged that Alexander showed up at the front gate of her home again!

Thankfully, her security team stopped him before he managed to get inside the residence, and they called the police. Law enforcement told Alexander to leave the area and warned him that if he returned to the home again, he would be arrested. However, the guy has not stopped his antics!

Following the terrifying incident, Miley found out Alexander was using her home address for his health insurance. What?! She also said in the court docs he wrote another letter telling her he “doesn’t give a f**k if he lives” if she doesn’t write back to him soon.

Understandably, the Hannah Montana alum is concerned about her safety and the safety of those close to her, including her mom, Tish Cyrus, and boyfriend, Maxx Morando. She feels Alexander is suffering from “severe mental health challenges.” Miley further believes he has a “dangerous fixation and/or obsession” with her, so that is the reason she pleaded for court-ordered protection.

As a result of the filing, the judge granted the temporary restraining order against Alexander, which means he can no longer contact and harass her or attend any of her concerts and events. Phew! He will also need to remain 100 yards away from Miley, her house, her car, or any venues she’s performing at.

On Instagram, the Oops… I Did It Again songstress posted another video of herself twirling around with the big butcher knives, and wrote in the caption:

“I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA. These are not real knives.”

The Princess of Pop went on to ask her fans to not call the cops on her:

“No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance I was inspired by !!!  Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks “

Well, it turns out some fans took the matter incredibly seriously and decided to get cops involved. Per TMZ on Thursday, law enforcement sources confirmed officials visited the A-lister at her home. Insiders claimed the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office received a call on Wednesday in which someone expressed concern for the pop star’s safety after her conduct on social media this week.

Other insiders with direct knowledge of the situation claimed several people phoned in. One of them was reportedly someone who requested a welfare check on the 41-year-old in the past and was particularly alarmed by the new behavior. Ugh…

Since deputies were already familiar with the knife video, they decided to pay a visit to the star’s home out of an abundance of caution. A team from the VCSO went over and were able to speak with the Toxic singer directly. Upon speaking with her, they apparently determined that she was fine. So, they left. Wow.

Brit’s not gonna like that her online activity has caused her to be questioned by the cops… again! Though we don’t blame people for being worried, especially if they’ve already checked in on her before. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

In the OG vid, the Toxic singer’s three tiny dogs can be seen getting scared and running away as she banged the knives together and flung them around. Because of their reaction, fans wrote on Instagram:

“I’m now concerned about her having dogs let alone any animals after this video.”

“The knives made a clanking noises. They’re clearly real. Real enough to fall on and kill one of those poor worried pups.”

Well… Sam Asghari‘s estranged wife didn’t do herself any favors when she returned to the ‘gram on Tuesday with another video of her dancing in the same iconic spot in her home and in the same outfit as before. But this time, she was spotted with a massive bandage on her arm and a cut — that looked very much like a slice from a knife — on her thigh. Yikes!!

Jeez. A Pennsylvania State Police trooper has been arrested after allegedly getting his ex-girlfriend committed to a mental health facility over false claims!

According to the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office, 37-year-old Ronald Davis was arrested on Thursday on accusations he abused his authority to get some revenge on his ex, who was listed as “M.F.” in court docs, though her last name was later listed as starting with P.

Ronald allegedly first began looking into getting his ex involuntarily committed on August 21 when he sought help from fellow troopers. He claimed the victim was suffering from mental health problems, including alleged suicidal thoughts, an affidavit of probable cause noted. The other officer reportedly told him to contact Dauphin County Crisis Intervention to minimize liability.

Ronald did this, while off duty, by using his police email and identifying himself as a trooper. He contacted county officials and asked to obtain an order after submitting alleged text messages in which he claimed the woman threatened her life. While the petition to have the woman involuntarily committed was being evaluated, officers reportedly attempted to check up on her via welfare checks, but they weren’t able to locate her. According to reports, she was allegedly living in a camper van on his property as their four-month relationship deteriorated, Law&Crime noted.

When the petition was finally approved, Ronald told another officer he’d “take care of it myself,” the police report claimed. Along with the help of a civilian (who was reportedly instructed to film the interaction), he was able to track down his ex before other authorities found her. She was located in the picnic area of a state forest. In the disturbing 12-minute video taken by the civilian, he can be seen sitting the blonde woman on the ground as she yelled:

“You’re insane. You’re absolutely insane … and then you paint me to look insane.”

Per authorities, he held her in a “wrestling-style hold” after he tackled her on the ground as she struggled to get free from him. She was also heard saying multiple times while he was on top of her, “I can’t breathe.” The woman seemed very confused by the whole thing, saying:

“Why are you treating me like a criminal?”

Also, authorities noted in the court docs that it does not appear as if Ronald ever stated he was acting in an official capacity as a trooper, though she was aware he called the cops on her. You can see the disturbing altercation (below):

Uniformed officials eventually arrived on the scene and took her to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill, where she stayed for five days and never showed any signs of suicidal thoughts, per medical personnel. As a result of the physical altercation, however, she did have injuries to her forehead, torso, back, buttocks, forearms, knee, and lower body.

She was released on August 26 and interviewed by police, where she dropped the bomb that she thought Ronald was coming after her after they got into a “domestic dispute.” After seeing the full extent of their text conversation, officers don’t think the trooper had any probable cause for concern, saying:

“While Trooper Davis provided text messages from [the victim] … and purported them to be suicidal, he failed to provide the full context of those messages. In fact, the text messages were the culmination of a larger, domestic dispute between he and the victim. Taken in context, the texts revealed her frustration with Trooper Davis and his controlling behavior … not a true desire to harm herself.”

The victim also alleged Ronald told her as their relationship fell apart:

“I know you’re not crazy, I’ll paint you as crazy. […] I know the law.”

Whoa.

Ronald, who is married with kids, was suspended from his Pennsylvania State Police job. He is also facing charges of felony strangulation, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and official oppression.

He’s being held without bail following an arraignment on Thursday. A preliminary hearing has been set for October 2.
