The daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler is all about keeping things peaceful in her life. In an Instagram Q&A on Wednesday, the aspiring rapper had a question submitted by a fan that read:

“how do u stay so positive when everyone on social media [sic] being annoying”

Alabama had a great answer prepared for her follower! In a selfie she posted to her Stories, she responded to the question by explaining life online is “very challenging” and she feels “very misunderstood”:

“I’m not going to sit here & lie and say it’s easy to keep pushing, it’s [sic] gets very challenging especially when they don’t know you, I feel very misunderstood!”

So very wise. But, also, it’s just the universal experience for every 17-year-old to be misunderstood! LOLz!

Despite her frustration with trolls and haters, she’s keeping her chin up! She explained it’s just part of her “lifestyle” — but it doesn’t slow her down much:

“It’s all a part of the lifestyle… people are going to hate regardless.. you need to not feed into it, you won’t benefit from it! Keep your peace protected.”

As we’ve been covering already on Friday, the Poosh fonder is the subject of a new Vanity Fair Italia interview and cover shoot. In it, the 44-year-old reality TV star opens up about her pregnancy and happy times preparing to be a mom to a newborn infant once again. …And she purposely does not open up about last month’s hospitalization.

When asked about her emergency fetal surgery, the Lemme lead said:

“It was terrifying.”

But then she balked at speaking too frankly about it. Promising to discuss the story “sooner or later” in order to help other women who may be dealing with the same issue, Kim Kardashian‘s older sibling told the mag that time would come later:

“I don’t feel ready [to talk] yet because it was really scary.”

Thankfully, she did go on to reveal how she feels much better now — and she loves “the idea” of being pregnant, even as her time carrying this baby boy is quickly coming to a close:

“Physically I feel great. I like being pregnant. I’m obsessed with the idea of ​​being pregnant!”

That adoration no doubt has been strengthened in part because of the KUWTK alum’s hospitalization. As she explained to the high-fashion mag, she’s learned a lot more gratitude in recent months:

“In the past I had never had to be careful. It took me a while to let go of the fear, I would say that right after the surgery I got to the point where I let go, I stopped worrying. Now I talk to the baby every day, have a positive mindset, keep my head straight and say a lot of prayers. And I feel really lucky and grateful. Well, I have a lot of gratitude, yes. Not that I didn’t have it before, but perhaps since it came easily to me, I took the pregnancy for granted.”

And it sure seems like her other children have, too. Speaking about sons Mason, 13, and Reign, 8, and daughter Penelope, 11, Kourt concluded:

“It’s been a while since they asked me for a little brother. Now when they go to school in the morning, they touch my belly, kiss it, say hello.”

Awww! That is so sweet and heartwarming!

As Perezcious readers know, the 44-year-old reality star has been very open about her vitro fertilization journey when she and Travis Barker began pursuing that option before their wedding in 2022. Specifically, Kourt has shared with fans how hard the process was on her body.

The treatments put her into “early menopause” and overall “took a toll” on her physically and mentally. It got to the point after months of failed fertility treatments where the couple decided to be “officially done with IVF” and leave it in the universe’s hands moving forward:

“We would love a baby more than anything. Whatever’s meant to be. We have a full, blessed life.”

And it wasn’t until they “stopped forcing the process … it happened,” as she shared in a cover story published on Friday with Vanity Fair Italia! Kourtney confirmed to the outlet that she and Travis conceived their child naturally:

“It arrived when both Travis and I no longer even thought about it, and when I had stopped fertility treatment.”

While online critics may not believe that given her age, Kourtney doesn’t seem to be bothered about the doubt! In fact, she told the outlet that comments “don’t affect” her as she believes this was “God’s plan” for her and Travis:

“To those who make them, I just say: ‘How could you question God’s plan?’ Because that’s how I see this pregnancy.”

Even when Kourtney began the process of trying to get pregnant through IVF, she knew it wasn’t the right option. However, The Kardashians star said she felt pressured to do it and continue with it due to her age. Once she followed her gut and stopped the treatments, though, that’s when things fell into place for the pair:

“The decision to try assisted fertilization was almost a non-choice, in the sense that I was pushed towards [IVF] as if it were the only option. The truth is, I felt like I was doing something that wasn’t right for me. My intuition was telling me that it wasn’t suitable for me — I don’t even take medicine, imagine — that it was working against my body rather than for it. I knew deep down that it wasn’t the right thing. I kept telling Travis: ‘If we’re meant to have a baby, then it’s just going to happen.’ And that’s how it was. When we stopped forcing the process, then it happened.”

Wow!

While Kourtney feels “great” physically, this experience has been very different from her other three pregnancies. The momma explained that she had “many restrictions in the first months,” as a “group of doctors” advised her to refrain from having sex, doing workouts, drinking caffeine, and going on plane trips. Oof. This must have been a rough first couple of months for the king and queen of PDA. LOLz!

Of course, combine this with the “frightening” experience of having emergency fetal surgery, and it’s all a LOT. It must have been such a scary and stressful pregnancy for Kourtney this time around! But we’re glad she’s in a good headspace now. You can see her Vanity Fair Italia cover (below):

On Wednesday afternoon, Kourtney Kardashian took to Instagram to show off her growing baby bump. In a new set of photos that were part of a partnership with the retailer Boohoo (appropriate brand name for this time of year! BOO!!), the Poosh founder wowed with mother-to-be vibes!

The Blink-182 drummer revealed on X (Twitter) Friday that on top of testing positive for coronavirus, he had suffered from an episode of trigeminal neuralgia. OMG! Travis began by telling fans that he “still” hates flying after surviving a 2008 plane crash that killed multiple people on board:

“I still hate flying. I love touring and playing music but I unfortunately associate traveling and flying with death. I am strong and nothing can keep me from living life though.”

However, Travis immediately followed up the post by saying he could “handle anything” since he dealt with COVID, trigeminal neuralgia, and more in the span of a week:

“Also last week I had covid, an episode of trigeminal neuralgia, and a root canal. Which means I can pretty much handle anything god throws at me.”

Oof. Trav and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, have had a tough time while dealing with medical issues lately! For those who don’t know, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Strokes says trigeminal neuralgia is a chronic pain disorder that causes “sudden, severe facial pain.”

Symptoms of the condition include numbness, throbbing, burning sensations, and intense pain, typically on one of the faces. The attacks normally last anywhere between a few seconds to a couple of minutes. Jeez…

ICYMI, Kourtney Kardashian and her hubby Travis Barker threw a Disney-themed baby shower in celebration of their new baby’s due date rapidly approaching. The momma-to-be posted a pic of a Wishing Tree she had at the party, upon which attendees could write letters to the little one. In one shot posted to her Instagram, though, a letter could be seen addressed to “Baby Rocky.” OMG!

Fans were quick to notice the little detail, and Kourt was even quicker to delete the post, not wanting to spoil the baby’s name — but the cat was out of the bag! The name was Rocky 13! Or so we thought…

On Thursday, a source for US Weekly came forward and said the married couple haven’t yet chosen a name for their new arrival:

“They have several names [that] they’re choosing from but want to wait to meet the baby first.”

Makes sense! But if Rocky isn’t what they’re going with, why was there a letter written to him with that name?

We suppose it could be Travis’ way of pushing one more time for the name he clearly favors! Ha! Then again, maybe it really is the name they decided on, but they’re trying to throw everyone off before the delivery. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see when he’s finally born!

You see, Kourt posted a pic of a Wishing Tree she had at the cute event, upon which attendees could write letters to the little one. And in one snap she shared on her Instagram, you could see one letter in particular addressing the boy as “Baby Rocky.”

Kourtney quickly deleted the shot after fans started making it a thing, but Travis kind of just doubled down on speculation…

On Monday, an X (Twitter) user took to the social media app to address the baby name chatter, sharing their thoughts on Rocky:

Nothing too out of the ordinary there, right? Fans will always have opinions, especially on anything Kardashian-related. However, Travis definitely put some wind in the Rocky moniker sails when he LIKED the post!!

As Perezcious readers may remember, the Blink-182 drummer and his 17-year-old daughter Alabama discussed the possibility of the name Rocky 13 in a YouTube video for Complex back in July. At the time, the teen called the name “so bad,” which Travis acknowledged, but explained the background on:

“Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies and 13 is just the greatest number of all time. And Rocky [is] the greatest boxing movie of all time.”

After getting heat for supposedly lying about hosting a baby shower at a Malibu residence on Saturday — which instead turned out to be an “influencer event” for her brand Poosh — Kourtney showed up to her REAL baby shower on Sunday. As to be expected, the reality star went all out for the shindig, which was themed after the Happiest Place on Earth — Disney!

The pregnant model showed off her “special day” celebrating “baby Barker” on her Instagram Story, in which she gave fans a glimpse at the glitzy party! Unique touches included Mickey Mouse-shaped pancakes (and other delicious treats), a barbershop quartet, Disney-themed flags, and Alice in Wonderland green juice. She even had a Wishing Tree and a Steamboat Willie cake.

Many family members were there to support her, including her siblings Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, who both took tons of photos to capture the awesome celebration! Their kids seemed enamored by the goodies and photo booth, too!

Unfortunately, there was one slight catch to the big day. Since Kourtney’s husband Travis Barker is home from his Blink-182 tour after catching COVID-19, the couple had to social distance! In a photo taken by his adopted daughter Atiana De La Hoya,  the pair could be seen sitting by a pool off to the side while the drummer wore a mask. Kind of a bummer they couldn’t be totally present with their friends and fam! Kris Jenner, who rocked a cute blue two-piece and Mickey Mouse ears, was also in a mask at one point.
