It appears the once close sisters-in-law have hit a rough patch amid the Game of Thrones alum’s nasty divorce from Joe Jonas! As of Friday, the mother of two has unfollowed Nick Jonas‘ wife on Instagram — and the Quantico star has done the same! Dang!

Interestingly, Sophie still follows Nick, Kevin Jonas, his wife Danielle Jonas, AND her ex! Soooo, perhaps there is drama between Sophie and Priyanka?!?! After all, it wasn’t like the 27-year-old was cleansing her timeline of all things Jonas! This was a targeted attack!

Earlier in the couple’s divorce, a source told Life & Style that the Citadel lead felt “caught in the middle” since she’s friends with both Sophie and Joe. Considering she was “very close” with the Brit — so close they thought they would both move their families to England together — she supposedly didn’t “want to do anything to jeopardize [Sophie and her nieces] being in her life.” But she must’ve done something if they both unfollowed each other! Right??

Publicly, the Love Again star has stayed hush-hush on the split, so it’s hard to know what could’ve occurred. The only notable thing the 41-year-old did was gush about her hubby hours after rumors surfaced that the DNCE frontman was planning to file for a legal split. Maybe the timing of the post rubbed the actress the wrong way?? Or some other s**t went down behind the scenes?

It is somewhat surprising since Jophie has actually managed to settle their child custody battle following mediation talks. Joe even filed to drop his Miami divorce filing, suggesting this chaos is over. But we guess a whole new feud is just beginning. Oof!

By now you know that ever since the 34-year-old singer filed for divorce, things have gotten very nasty between the former couple. The Game of Thrones actress sued Joe for allegedly abducting their kids by refusing to hand over their passports so their children, Willa and Delphine, could return to their “forever home” in England. He vehemently denied the claims. However, Sophie revealed the Jonas Brothers member penned a letter that proved he wanted to move across the pond before their breakup.

They’ve since begun a four-day-long mediation in the hopes of coming to some sort of compromise before they head to court to battle it out on January 2, 2024. Whether an agreement can be made remains unknown. Considering how messy the divorce has gotten in a short amount of time, it’s hard to imagine they can put aside their differences and peacefully hash out the details. We guess never say never, right!?

But here’s the thing – not only has the split caused bitterness between Joe and Sophie, but it’s also created a very tense situation for their friends and family, especially for sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra! According to Life & Style this week, Nick Jonas’ wife has been having a tough time navigating the split as she – and many others – have felt “caught in the middle!” Uh oh. A source explained:

“Sophie and Joe kept a lot of their friends separate, but a few are caught in the middle of this mess.”

The insider then said of Priyanka:

“She and So­phie were very close. There was once a time Sophie thought she and Joe would move to London and so would Nick and Priyanka. Priyanka loves Sophie and her nieces and doesn’t want to do anything to jeopar­dize them being in her life.”

In fact, the two women were so “close” that the 41-year-old actress even considered Sophie a “sister” at one point. She told Elle in 2019 about her close relationship with the 27-year-old and Kevin Jonas’ wife, Danielle:

“I’ve never had a sister, so it’s really nice to have Danielle and Sophie, and just inheriting the family by proxy. Sophie is super talented, super funny and we have the most fun when we go out together. She’s incredible. By the time this comes out, she’ll be the new Mrs. Jonas. I can’t wait for her to join the family.”

Oof. And now Sophie and Joe are going their separate ways…

This must be so hard for everyone involved, considering it soulds like they had to choose sides in this situation no matter how close they may be to the two of them. During the emotional lyrics, Nick surprised fans when he shook his head and stepped away from his mic, unable to continue singing. The crowd quickly jumped in to take over singing for him, but nobody could miss the way he was tearing up over his baby girl! Aww!

According to US Weekly on Monday, the Jonas Brothers singer and his wife have allegedly been experiencing trouble within their marriage for some time now. An insider dished to the outlet:

“They had been struggling with issues long before this moment and tension had been building due to their hectic schedules. Joe was always gone and is now on tour, and she was always away filming.”

The 27-year-old actress has been in the UK filming the past couple months, while her hubby has been on tour with his brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas since August. The source said texts and phone calls between the pair became less and less frequent — and eventually “seemed more forced” amid all their time spent apart. They also say the “spark they once had seemed to fizzle”. Sad.

But… that really doesn’t make much sense, does it? That it as all the time apart that did it? We mean, they have two kids — Willa, 3, and her sister, a 14-month-old identified only as “D.J.” so far — on top of their careers. If they can make time to raise their kids, why is it impossible for them to make time for each other, too? We mean, if they were still interested in the marriage.

It seems more likely to us, they fell out of love first — and packed their schedules full to avoid talking about it! Look, marriages are work. If one or both of them didn’t want to put in that work, no wonder they split! But don’t blame it on scheduling. Couples don’t split because of a lack of an administrative assistant. They split because of a lack of interest.

Plus, we don’t really think their jam-packed calendar could be seen on that Ring doorbell camera…

Last month, the 33-year-old appeared on Australian radio show Will & Woody, where he reluctantly shared a story he’d “never told anyone” — and it was messy… Literally. At the time, the star explained that he and some friends had recently talked about the “last time” they could remember pooping their pants, and that his latest experience was shockingly just “four years ago.” He shared:

“It’s fresh, but I’ve been able to work through it, a lot of therapy. Let’s just say it was a bad day to choose to wear white clothing. You think it might be a little toot, it might’ve been a little something else, a little something extra.”

He added that he had to have a “mid wardrobe s**t change during that set,” and that if you were to “go in the archives,” you’d see him in a completely different outfit halfway through his performance!

That would definitely be pretty hard to top in terms of embarrassment, but he now claims to have actually experienced something even worse!

During a Vanity Fair Q&A posted to YouTube Tuesday, he quizzed bros Nick and Kevin on what his ACTUAL most embarrassing onstage moment was, and they both agreed on what they thought was a no brainer — Nick quickly responded, “You s**t your pants,” before Kevin added, “You did. You s**t your pants.” However, the Cake by the Ocean singer had a different moment in mind!

Joe promptly responded, “incorrect,” before sharing:

“It was a fall on national television.”

The father of two was, of course, referencing a moment in which he attempted to walk through a doorway of shattered glass in an artsy performance, but accidentally caught his foot on the frame and fell to his knees in the scattered shards. At the time, he quickly rebounded, rejoining his brothers as they approached the front of the stage, but it clearly left a lasting mark on him! And maybe even on his knees, too, because OUCH! He added:

“That was embarrassing at the time. Now I don’t really care because it’s happened many times since.”

His Jonas Brothers band mates quickly knew the EXACT moment he was referring to, as Nick hilariously shared, “our album sales spiked, though.”

On Monday’s episode of The Armchair Expert podcast, Joe Jonas revealed he once got incredibly emotional after finding out his younger brother Nick Jonas had snagged his dream gig!

During the episode (in which he appeared alongside Nick and Kevin Jonas), the DNCE frontman explained he learned Nick was going to be a judge on The Voice while at a Fleetwood Mac concert at Madison Square Garden in March 2019. As the band sang Landslide, he ended up feeling all the feels, he revealed:

“It was at the most picturesque setting. I was so jealous I cried my eyes out to Landslide.”

While the Camp Rock star was happy for his brother, it was hard not to feel “bittersweet” about the announcement, he shared:

“It was bittersweet, of course, ’cause I’m super happy for him, but I’m also bummed ’cause I want that f**king gig!”

Kevin then chimed in to explain why the job was such a touchy subject. Joe had actually been a coach on the Australian version of the show in 2018, so he felt like he was way more qualified than the Levels crooner. Joe exclaimed:

“I just enjoyed the job, so I was like, ‘what the f**k?’ But [Nick] crushed it and, you know, it was great.”

Priyanka Chopra‘s husband served as a coach on seasons 18 and 20 in 2020 and 2021, respectively, before being replaced by Ariana Grande. Innerestingly, this wasn’t the only time the duo was vying for the same job!

The Jumanji star revealed he and Joe were both in the running for the same role in the upcoming Wicked movie. Even though they are “competitive in sports and other things,” they both cheered each other on because their ultimate goal — no matter what they’re doing – is to get someone “with the last name Jonas to win.” Cute! Joe noted:

“Yeah, we said, ‘Go in there and kill it ’cause it’s gotta be one of us. It has to be one of us.’ That being said, never got that call…”

At least they tried! You can tell how mature they are by this response, too! It can’t be easy to go against your brother again and again — especially considering their history! The Disney Channel alums infamously broke up in 2013 after hitting a rough patch in their collective relationships following years of making music, touring, and staring in TV shows and films together. After working on solo projects, they got the band back together (and better than ever) in 2019. With this family-first attitude, our fingers are crossed they won’t hit any road bumps in the future! Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday night, all three together on the show for the first time… and things got spicy quick! The host, of course, had a few games prepared for the musical trio. The mission? To get to the bottom of a few burning questions fans have been wondering for years! The results? Equal parts hilarious, endearing, and scandalous! Ooohhh…

First off, one fan called in and asked Nick exactly what he said to his now wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas when he first slid into her DMs! Oh, and they were also curious how often he would slide into others’ DMs before getting hitched! Ha! But Nick was prepared! He explained coolly, “Life before Priyanka is a distant memory.” Smooth! Then he pulled out his phone to check the receipts of the DMs to his future wife, explaining:

“I saved a photo of it, and I can also go to my DMs and it’s still in there.”

Aww! So sweet that he still keeps those OG messages! The 30-year-old offered: 

“I said something to the effect of, ‘Hey, I’ve heard we have a lot of things in common, friends in common, and I think we should meet in person.’ And she right away responded, she was like, ‘Nice to meet you. Let’s get off DM, let’s go to text, my team might be watching.’”

Ha! Love that she was already interested in the kind of talk she wouldn’t want her team seeing! Great sign!

 As for DMs to people other than Priyanka, he shared:

“I’m sure there were DMs previously, but the only one that mattered was my wife.”

In honor of their new song Waffle House, they played a game in which Andy asked questions, and for whichever bro fit the description, waffles were thrown! LOLz! Some of the questions included, “Who is your parents’ favorite?” which the three unanimously agreed on Nick, “Who Googles themselves most often?” which Nick and Joe both agreed was Joe, and “Who’s the most sensitive?” which they all agreed was Kevin. Next up, the singers played “Agree or Disagree,” in which they had to either, you guessed it, agree or disagree with Andy’s statements. The host got right into it with the hot take: “High School Musical is a better movie than Camp Rock.” All three bros unanimously agreed, despite starring in the latter. Kevin quickly shouted out HSM had a “bigger budget.”

THEN Andy really went all out, stating, “The purity rings were a bad idea” — and all three agreed! Nick said: 

“In theory, they’re not a bad idea. But you should know what you’re signing up for before you sign up for it.”

LOLz! Joe added:

“When you’re 12 versus when you’re, like, 16, is a very big difference.”

Later, Kevin got hit with a “tough” question:

“Which former Disney star has the better music catalog, Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato?”

Oh man, talk about a loaded question! How do you answer that? He knows these women!
