For those who don’t recall, the 34-year-old former yoga instructor from Austin, Texas, allegedly fatally shot 25-year-old Moriah “Mo” Wilson in May 2022. Law enforcement believe the professional cyclist had been involved with Armstrong’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland. When the suspect found out the two went swimming together one day, she allegedly killed Mo in a “jealous rage.” Police brought her in for questioning afterward. However, they did not arrest her at the time.

Instead of waiting around to see what authorities did next, Armstrong booked it. She escaped the state and eventually the country, sparking a six-week-long manhunt. The yogi, sporting a whole new appearance due to cosmetic surgery, was eventually captured in Costa Rica on June 29 and arrested on first-degree murder charges. Armstrong has since pleaded not guilty, and her trial is scheduled to begin on October 30.

Before the fitness instructor heads to court, though, she decided to try fleeing once again. And she was SUCCESSFUL! We’re not kidding.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, two deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office had taken Kailin to a doctor in South Austin on Wednesday. When the appointment ended shortly after 8 a.m., officers escorted her to a patrol unit to take her back to the Travis County Correctional Complex. But Armstrong had other plans in mind. She suddenly bolted from the cops and went on the run! There is even a video of her fleeing and trying to scale a fence to get away from the police!!

Fortunately, she was only out of custody briefly. Armstrong got about a block down the road before officers found and detained her again. The sheriff’s office insisted that the accused murderer had been in the deputies’ eyesight the entire time she was out of custody.

Hmm… You would think that given her history of running from the authorities, they would have had a good eye (and hold) on her to begin with so this sort of situation didn’t happen again! As Armstrong evaded the authorities for 43 days in the past, she likely could do it again if she had the opportunity. And clearly, she was trying to make it happen here!

Following her arrest, she was transported to the Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment. KXAN reported that Armstrong now could face additional charges for escaping.

While appearing on Kelly Ripa‘s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast this week, the 48-year-old television personality recalled the hilarious bathroom mishap story, saying:

“I was in the powder room, the toilet was contemporary, and [it’s an] all black toilet.”

At first, the American Idol host was nervous there’d be cameras in the restroom since Kris tends to keep them in the “common areas” of her house. But we guess Ryan wasn’t too concerned about being recorded doing his business — at least, that was until his accident. He continued:

“So I was there, and I rushed over and did what I needed to do, and found that toilet paper was put where it needed to be put and the water level began to rise, and I clogged the toilet.”

Oh no!!! Immediately, Ryan “panicked” when he noticed the water had “overflowed up to the seat level.” Thankfully, the problem eventually fixed itself, and he snuck out like nothing happened:

“Then it began to settle down, but I quickly got out.”

But that wasn’t the full story, according to Kelly! The 53-year-old told listeners Ryan actually had to “retrieve” what he “put in [the toilet]!” OMG! Her co-host then asked if there was a “ladle involved,” to which Ryan fired back:

“It wasn’t a ladle! It was the toilet ring cleaner that I used. There was a utensil that was convenient. It wasn’t a ladle. You think I’m walking around with my Swiss Army Knife carrying around my ladle? It was the toilet ring cleaner!”

This must have been SO embarrassing for Ryan! But as Kelly pointed out, “everybody’s had that moment in their lives.” Yeah… maybe… but we’ll never admit to it! Ha!!

In a new chat with People out on Wednesday, Jada Pinkett Smith opened up about her complicated history with Chris Rock, who Will Smith famously slapped during the award show last year. Not only does she have some beef with the Everybody Hates Chris alum, but he once totally admitted he was crushing on her and got brutally rejected!

She claims their problems all started in 2016, and the drama also stemmed from the Academy Awards. At the time, Jada was in support of the #OscarsSoWhite movement, calling for a boycott of the show after Will was overlooked for his performance in Concussion, among many other Black creatives. The issue? Chris was hosting that year.

Referencing her upcoming book Worthy, the Scream 2 star acknowledged:

“I talk about this in the book, I think that there might be some misunderstanding between Chris and I as far as the 2016 Oscars. I think that he might’ve taken offense, which I meant no harm in offending. That wasn’t my intention. But I do think that there’s a big misunderstanding there.”

Now, Jada admits she did “not really recognizing the level of pressure [Chris] might’ve been under” at the time, noting she could’ve done a lot more to support him while also sticking up for the cause:

“I probably should have called him and gone, ‘Hey, are you okay? And just know that although I’m speaking out about the Oscars, I do wish you the best and I just want you to know that,’ me taking the time to have called him and said that, just to touch base. But his feelings might’ve been hurt.”

But, of course, she didn’t make that phone call. And in his Netflix special Selective Outrage earlier this year, Chris took jabs at the Smiths for the controversy. Looking back, Jada said:

“All we can ever do is just look at our part and see where could I have done something that would’ve seemed as if… Whatever misunderstanding might’ve been created, what could I have done to avoid that misunderstanding? The one thing that I think about is that call.”

Innerestingly, they did have a phone call in 2016 after the award ceremony to hash it out — and she thought everything was A-OK! She dished:

“He apologized and I apologized to him as well. So I actually thought that we were good, that the hatchet was buried between us. And we hadn’t talked since then, until 2022 came.”

But after the Madagascar actor made a joke about Jada’s bald head, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum stormed the stage and hit him in the middle of the broadcast, shocking the world. Even the 52-year-old woman was confused at first:

“From where I was sitting I couldn’t tell. It didn’t look like Will hit Chris, because, number one, I’d seen Will in the boxing ring with pro fighters — Will’s a heavy-hitter. So when Chris moved, it looked like he ducked or he missed the shot. And when he continued to stand, and then when he continued to walk down to the end of the stage, I was like, ‘There’s no way. There’s no way that Will hit him.’ […] It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn’t a skit. I was in as much of a fog as anybody else in that room that night.”

She recalled trying to “keep myself grounded and settled for the people around us, and specifically for Will,” adding:

“I wasn’t quite sure what was going on. I just knew, one thing I’ve realized in everything I’ve been through is stay calm, stay clear. Just so you can keep your awareness on what is happening around you.”

After the cameras cut to commercial, she and Chris shared a moment, she revealed:

“Chris came down to the end of the stage and tried to apologize to me. He said, ‘I didn’t mean you any harm.’ I said, ‘I can’t talk about this now, Chris. This is some old s**t.’ I thought this was [about] the Oscar 2016 and … their stuff that they had before I even came into the picture in the late ‘80s. I’ve got to leave that to Will and Chris to talk about, but they got their stuff for sure.”

While she didn’t love being the punchline, she understood it’s just part of the job:

“I mean, that’s what comedians do. I would just have to say that I am not really here to make any judgment on how people decide to express themselves and express their art. I’ll say that several times I’ve had my feelings hurt, for sure. I’ve had my feelings hurt a lot by Chris. But at the end of the day, too, being in the spotlight, it comes with the territory.”

Here’s where things get VERY spicy, though!

One of the reasons Will might have been so sensitive to Chris’ remark is because Chris once tried to steal his girl! WHAT?! The author reveals in her book that the stand-up comedian asked her out when he thought the couple was divorcing! OMG! She told the mag:

“I think every summer all the reports would come out that me and Will were getting a divorce. And this particular summer, Chris, he thought that we were getting a divorce. So he called me and basically he was like, ‘I’d love to take you out.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘Well, aren’t you and Will getting a divorce?’ I was like, ‘No. Chris, those are just rumors.’ He was appalled. And he profusely apologized and that was that.”

First of all, that’s SO embarrassing for him! It could also be why Will was so touchy about Chris talking about his (pretend) wife? We say pretend because Jada just revealed she and Will have been living completely separate lives since 2016, though she hasn’t filed for divorce. While it’s unclear when exactly Chris shot his shot, she had plenty of opportunities to test things out with him if she wanted. Oof…

We don’t think the Grown Ups alum will ever be taking the Red Table Talk host out on a date, tho, since she hasn’t “talked to” him since the infamous slap! She expressed:

“[Do I have] any desire to talk to Chris? Here’s my desire: I just hope that all the misunderstanding around this can be cleared up and that there can be peace.”

She is also on her “own journey of self-worth” and is being a support system for Will while letting him figure his s**t out, as she told People:

“For a lot of years I’ve taken on a lot of responsibility thinking that I’m responsible for a lot of things that just aren’t my responsibility. Part of my codependency. […] I’m going to be by his side, but also allow him to have to figure this out for himself. [I’m] finding a way to support him without trying to take away or deal with it for him, what he has to be with.”

Every time we peel back a layer of this onion, the dynamic between this trio gets messier!

During a Wednesday interview with The Today Show, football star Brock Purdy dropped some pretty surprising info about his living situation! When asked what his “reality” was outside of playing for the NFL team, he revealed he still rents an apartment with one of his teammates:

“So, I still have a roommate. One of the offense linemen here. So he and I are still splitting rent.”

That’s not all, though. He went on to say he still drives his Toyota Sequoia:

“I still drive, you know, my Toyota Sequoia. Other than that, it’s a pretty simple life.”

To put that into perspective, according to RentCafe, the average cost for an apartment in San Francisco is a steep $3,336! Over the summer the 23-year-old got engaged, though, so who knows how his lifestyle will change after the wedding. We mean, surely he’s not going to move his new bride in on his current living situation. LOLz!!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last month, and the milestone has the model reflecting on her OG nuptials to the musician!

The lovebirds tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Lake Como, Italy back in 2013. The problem came when the duo was saying their vows and the Cravings cookbook author let one slip! She recalled in a chat with People on Thursday:

“Something funny that happened during our vows, John’s uncle was the pastor, and he was officiating our wedding, and I dropped the ring. I, of course, said ‘oh, s**t,’ into the mic, and he was just a little taken aback by it. He was like, ‘That’s Chrissy.’”

LOLz!

Not the holiest of words! But, TBH, we can think of worse!

Despite the fumble, the mother of four thinks it’s “a cherished memory” of the big day, and it’s not something she regrets!

Recalling how Stevie Wonder performed Ribbon in the Sky for the newlywed’s first dance, Chrissy reflected:

“He performed our first dance, but I didn’t have a first dance. I really wasn’t dancing because I was just — I’m too nervous to dance in front of people. […] That’s more of a regret of mine than a cherished memory, that I didn’t really have a first dance.”

Aw! We hope she got to right this wrong last month when she hosted a vow renewal. TMZ reported they planned to have a weekend-long celebration with a “pretty spectacular” guest list of A-listers. While the couple hasn’t revealed much, it sounds like it super fun and very romantic! Love it!

The former President has fallen off the Forbes 400 list that tracks the 400 richest people in the US. And while normally we wouldn’t care what a businessperson’s net worth is, with Trump, it matters — because he never shuts up about it!

According to Forbes in a release published on Tuesday afternoon, the Apprentice star’s net worth is approximately $2.6 billion. That’s still a TON of money, obviously. But it’s a big drop from his past net worth of $3.2 billion, which had earned him a place on the 2022 richest-person list. Now, in 2023, his big drop in business value corresponds with a drop OFF the richest list. See ya, Donald!

Per the financial outlet’s reporting, the reason Trump dropped off the list is simple: it’s the complete failure of Truth Social. The social media service has predicted it would pick up more than 40 million users by the end of 2023, but as of early October, it has a paltry 6+ million users on its platform. That’s less than one percent of the people who use X (Twitter). The outlet coldly noted:

“If Trump’s platform were thriving, he would probably have no trouble finding alternate financing. But it’s not, and there is little reason to be optimistic about Truth Social’s future.”

Oof…

But Truth Social isn’t the only albatross around Trump’s neck. His real estate holdings have also decreased in value. Forbes pegs his office building value losses in the hundreds of millions of dollars in 2023. And as for why this is newsworthy? Well, the outlet explained it succinctly:

“[The Forbes 400] is an annual measurement that Trump has obsessed over for decades, relentlessly lying to reporters to try to vault himself higher on the list.”

In footage that surfaced on Tuesday, the Wild Boy singer can be seen getting into a pretty intense face off in what appears to be some sort of road rage meltdown — with a bicyclist?!

According to a witness via the TMZ report on the incident, MGK was riding in the passenger seat of his black SUV in Sherman Oaks. Suddenly, his driver pulled over to allow him to get out and confront the biker for some reason that isn’t exactly clear. The Twin Flame singer sported a long sleeve black shirt and plaid pants as he leapt in front of a pedestrian’s electric bike, preventing him from being able to ride off.

Oof! That’s never a good idea. We just wonder what happened in the moments before the cameras started rolling!

The 33-year-old repeatedly put his hands on the biker’s handlebars to deter him from fleeing the scene as passing cars honked, until the two eventually both sat down on a curb and seemingly talked things out in a more level-headed manner. See (below):

Interestingly, TMZ reports the bicyclist was DJ Kerwin Frost.

So is there some kind of history there?! While it’s not clear what exactly caused the dispute, one thing we do know is that MGK ain’t afraid to engage in a bit of fisticuffs from time to time…

According to the couple’s daughter, the reality stars have been teaching classes in prison in order to get sentence reductions. Julie Chrisley has been reportedly been teaching a real estate class, while the patriarch’s class of choice was… finance?!

The 28 year old dished:

“I know [Julie] definitely taught classes like she taught a real estate class she — she’s definitely taught classes. I mean she’s got all these certificates from like teaching and completing classes all these things. An overachiever, Julie’s always been … Dad’s definitely taught some classes too, trauma is one of them … I think another one was a financial class.”

She also went on to add that the Chrisley matriarch has even been asked to lead a financial group herself:

“How ironic.”

Well, we’re glad Savannah said so! Because this is definitely some major irony! Todd and Julie are in prison for financial crimes — so what exactly are they telling their students?? What NOT to do? How NOT to dodge taxes like they did? We hope?? LOLz!
