Of course, David and his wife Victoria Beckham are the focal points of the appropriately-titled Beckham docuseries from the streaming service. And just last week, during the fourth episode of that deep dive, the former pro athlete and the Spice Girls singer finally addressed THOSE affair rumors.

ICYMI, part of that ep centered on Becks’ move to Spain in the early aughts to play soccer for Real Madrid. In the new doc, David explained how he felt lonely in Madrid without Victoria. Then, to make matters worse, his solo Spain time was then dogged by affair rumors involving Loos — his former personal assistant. The claims were published for months on end by tabloids, as Brooklyn Beckham‘s dad recalled:

“There was some horrible stories that were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.”

And it wasn’t just difficult for David and Victoria. It was rough on Loos, too!! Even though Becks denied the affair allegations at the time, Rebecca still took a ton of heat from both the media and tabloid readers. And now that this whole thing is being dredged up once more in the Netflix series, she’s feeling that unique pain AGAIN.

Late last week, a kind Instagram user took to Loos’ page on the social media site to offer up a show of support. Writing directly to Becks’ ex-assistant, the user shared regret at how cruel social media users have been to Loos in the weeks since the Netflix series first debuted:

“Some of the comments on here are disgusting!!! Stay strong. You have a beautiful life with your gorgeous family which unlike others doesn’t have to fill the gaps by getting Netflix involved!!!”

Damn! There’s some low-key shade there directed from the commenter to the Beckhams, too. Loos didn’t take on that comment about “getting Netflix involved,” though. Instead, she simply replied with her take on trying to get past nasty comments with humor:

“Thank you [I] am taking in the nasty comments with as much humour as I can”

Ugh.

It’s bad enough to be the subject of a social media pile-on. But to deal with this again two decades after she already dealt with the first one that upended her life two decades ago?! Not cool!!

Thankfully, it sounds like Loos is trying to push through it. Again. That doesn’t make it any easier or less unfair, though… Reactions, Perezcious readers?

The 28-year-old snapped a photo on Saturday while hanging out with her hubby Brooklyn Beckham‘s little sibling Harper at her momma Victoria‘s Paris Fashion Week show!

In the mirror selfie, which was originally snapped in September according to People, the 12-year-old can be seen in a white dress while standing next to the model in a gray skirt, fishnet stockings, and a black bralette. They were seemingly backstage at the Fashion Week event from last month, which was held in the late Karl Lagerfeld‘s former townhouse. In the caption, Nicola expressed:

“Such a beautiful show with my baby sis. congratulations @victoriabeckham”

What was Victoria Beckham fibbing about? Now we know! In a clip that went viral very quickly after the premiere of Beckham on Wednesday, Victoria can be seen trying to claim she grew up poor! POSH Spice, y’all!

She tells the interviewer:

“We were very working… working class.”

David pops in out of nowhere and tells her:

“Be honest!”

She claims she is being honest, to which he replies simply:

“What car did your dad drive you to school in?”

Posh hems and haws and tries to evade, but Becks holds her to it. And eventually she admits:

“Okay. In the ’80s my dad had a Rolls Royce.”

David, knowing he’s scored the goal, simply says “Thank you” and disappears again. Amazing. We love how, even after amassing such a fortune, he’s still down-to-earth enough to call BS! Watch for yourself (below)!

Twenty years ago, David Beckham made the difficult decision to leave his wife Victoria and two young sons Brooklyn and Romeo in the UK to go play soccer for Real Madrid in Spain. And by leave, we mean physically — not relationship-wise. However, it wasn’t long before that started to become the rumor…

In their new four-part Netflix documentary Beckham, the former soccer player opened up about what it was like being thrust into a completely new country all by his lonesome:

“When I first moved to Spain it was difficult because I had been part of a club and a family for my whole career, from the age of 15 to when I was 27. I get sold overnight, the next minute I’m in a city, I don’t speak the language. More importantly, I didn’t have my family.”

Not long after being there, personal assistant Rebecca Loos (pictured above, inset) stepped forward claiming she’d had an affair with the athlete. And because of that, David and Victoria had to “fight” to keep their heads above water. Victoria reflected on the troubling time:

“It was the hardest period for us because it felt like the world was against us.”

What made it even worse was the lack of support for one another at the time, which was an unwelcome deviation from their norm:

“And here’s the thing, we were against each other if I’m being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else, but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me.”

That must have been so hard… Going up to bat against all the wild rumors, without even being able to fall back on the one person you are supposed to be able to trust most? Oof.

The mother of four added that she eventually moved to Spain as well, in order to be by David’s side. But that only made the speculation worse. She recalled:

“It was an absolute circus. It’s really entertaining when the circus comes to town, right? Unless you’re in it.”

However, the fashion designer opted to push down her feelings in favor of the “focus” David required for his sport — but at her own cost:

“Did I resent David? If I’m being totally honest, yes, I did. It was probably, if I’m being honest, the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life. It wasn’t that I felt unheard, because I chose to internalize a lot of it, because I was always mindful of the focus that he needed.”

That poor woman. As for David’s perspective, it wasn’t necessarily an easy ride for him, either. He explained:

“I don’t know how we got through it, in all honestly. Victoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult, but we’re fighters and at that time we needed to fight for each other, we needed to fight for our family. And what we had was worth fighting for. There were some days that I would wake up and think, ‘How am I going to go to work? How am I going to walk on to that training pitch? How am I going to look as if nothing’s wrong?’ I felt physically sick every day when I opened my eyes, ‘How am I going to do this?’”

According to a video making rounds on social media, the Vogue editor-in-chief could be seen at the runway event on Friday, initially sitting right next to Posh Spice’s hubby, David Beckham. Then Kimmy Kakes, dressed in a gorgeous pink gown, walked over to the seats and hugged the former athlete.

How did Miss Wintour feel about it? She noticeably had her arms crossed and seemed to purposefully ignore The Kardashians star when she sat down next to her by turning her head to look the other way. The viral clip then cuts to Kim sitting next to David — with Anna nowhere to be found! Check it out (below):

Based on what was shown in the video, social media users believe the fashionista changed her seat to avoid being near Kim! When Anna was gone, even the SKIMS creator seemed to say the words “I feel so bad” while talking with David.

That’s just a guess, mind you. It’s important to note the video has no audio, so who knows what Kim actually said to the football icon. Nevertheless, the clip has people convinced there is some major drama going on between Kim and Anna right now. Here’s a sampling of what fans are thinking:

So there you have it, Perezcious readers! We guess there was no drama at the fashion show between Anna and Kim after all! But would anyone have been shocked if they had some tension?

As you may recall, Anna seemed to snub the 42-year-old television personality at Fendi’s New York Fashion Week show. She could be seen approaching Sarah Jessica Parker to say hello. But when Kim attempted to talk to Anna, she completely ignored the mom of four. Yikes…

Then, there’s also the Met Gala mishap. Reports came out that the Kardashian-Jenner family – including Kim – were kicked off the guest list for the event in 2023 as Anna was allegedly “cracking down” on who was invited. However, Kim did receive an invite but it was unclear if that was only after the backlash. Kim was reportedly “left very unhappy” about the news that she was axed from the gala.

According to The Sun, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been spending time with none other than John Travolta. A source said the trio met at the Polo Lounge inside The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles during an event for Archewell and “got on extremely well.” And they’ve reportedly been buddy-buddy since then. Before anyone asks, no, Meghan and Harry are not becoming Scientologists like the 69-year-old actor! Sources insisted to the outlet that Harry and Meghan are not joining Scientology.

Page Six confirmed the hangout at the Polo Lounge. However, their insider claimed it was “once” for the release party for Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, back in January. The source said the group had a “very friendly encounter” but “nothing more than that.” Hmm…

Either way, it wouldn’t surprise us if Meghan and Harry attempted to connect with John again. The Pulp Fiction star already has a connection with the 38-year-old royal, considering he met his late mom Princess Diana years ago. They famously danced together during a dinner at the White House in 1985, and John called it “one of the highlights of [his] life.”

Also, Harry and Meghan have been losing a ton of friends left and right lately! As we previously reported, the pair allegedly had a falling out with David and Victoria Beckham. An insider claimed to Dailymail.com last week that the former athlete and Spice Girls member were accused by the Sussexes of leaking stories to the press. However, that turned out not to be the case and David was “absolutely bloody furious” about the allegations. And they have since severed all ties – with very little hope of ever rekindling their friendship in the future. The source noted:

“Any making up now is so unlikely.”

But here’s a sudden twist in the story! The Page Six insider claimed “nothing has happened in [Markle and Harry’s] friendship with the Beckhams,” adding:

“That’s total BS. Daily Mail must be bored and grasping at straws.”

It’s important to note, though, that this isn’t the first time there were rumblings of a friendship breakup between Victoria, David, Harry, and Meghan. This also isn’t the only relationship that appears to be strained right now. Dailymail.com reported Meghan and Harry also have fallen out with George and Amal Clooney as well as Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. Yikes…

As the Duchess of Sussex focuses her attention back on her Hollywood career, she’s going to have a tough time leaning on her A-lister friends for support — because they’re all distancing themselves from the royal couple!

First, we learned besties Victoria and David Beckham were no longer buddy-buddy with the pair, and now DailyMail.com’s Mail on Sunday is revealing George and Amal Clooney have also fallen out of touch with the Suits alum and her regal partner.

If you didn’t know, George and his wife were said to be very close to the Deal or No Deal alum. She and Harry even visited them at their homes in Los Angeles and Oxfordshire around the time of their wedding. The Ticket to Paradise star and the lawyer, of course, were also at the royal shindig in 2018 and the group’s friendship was chronicled in Finding Freedom, the Harry and Meghan biography written by the couple’s friend Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. In the book, it is claimed the Sussexes were invited to the Clooney’s home in Lake Como, Italy weeks after the royal wedding, flying out on George’s private jet. A source said of the three-day visit:

“Meghan and Amal spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and playing with the twins while George and Harry checked out George’s motorbike collection. Harry took one of them out with one of his protection officers. George recently had an accident, so he wasn’t back on his bike yet.”

Their trip overlapped briefly with Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, too. So, it really seemed like they were one big happy friend group, right?! Well, maybe not!

According to new reports, the group’s friendship came to an end shortly after the wedding. A source told the outlet on Saturday that Meghan and George are no longer “bosom buddies,” though it’s unclear why. To make matters worse, the insiders are speculating that George and Amal are siding with King Charles III in this royal family feud since in May they were spotted at an award ceremony for the Prince’s Trust, an organization Charles founded. Oof.

Interestingly, George has also reportedly claimed he wasn’t close to Meghan and Harry at all before their wedding — despite snagging a prominent pew at the event! Back in 2020, journalist Rachel Johnson revealed via AirMail:

“There’s a story doing the rounds that while Carolyn Bartholomew, Diana’s former flatmate, was waiting for the wedding service to start, she turned to the couple alongside her and asked how they knew Harry or Meghan. ‘We don’t,’ the Clooneys answered brightly.”

Damn!

Why would he lie about knowing them?! Maybe they just weren’t that close at the time of the wedding but formed more of a friendship over the years… until it fizzled? After all, there were reports that Amal hired a private jet to fly Meghan home from her New York baby shower in February 2019. You don’t do that for a stranger!

But ultimately, something went down to tear them apart! The Clooneys certainly aren’t the only ones cutting ties with the Sussexes, though. This comes after DM previously revealed David and Victoria Beckham are no longer close with Harry and Meghan, who were noticeably absent at their son Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding to Nicola Peltz in April. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have also distanced themselves — with the American Idol judge seemingly taking “sides” after performing at Charles’ coronation concert.

This certainly doesn’t bode well for Meghan, who is determined to reenter Hollywood with a bang. It’s an industry where having friends in high places can help big time — so just imagine what could happen if you’re suddenly NOT friends with some of the industry’s biggest stars??
